Hotel Soho
About
A great 3 stars..
Hotel Soho is part of the hotel chain Hoteles Nuñez y Navarro, who has no less than 9 hotels in Barcelona including the Jazz and the Universal we have already mentioned. A guarantee of quality confirmed by the site visit. This three-star has everything a great hotel: 51 comfortable and quiet rooms, a swimming pool on the roof terrace. A modern decor with simple but warm materials. A contemporary and hip design hotel in Barcelona designed by Verner Panton. The hotel boasts modern, urban interiors and cutting-edge architectural features. A roof deck lounge overlooking Gran Via and a terrace with pool on the hotel’s top floor offer magnificent views of Barcelona.
We notice easily the Soho by night with its facade that lights of many colors. A good landmark to find it easily on the Gran Via De Les Corts Catalanes, this great avenue which borders the district of Eixample. You are only 6 blocks away from the emblematic Passeig de Gràcia an avenue of Barcelona known for its beautiful shops but for alerted tourists by the presence of several masterpieces like the famous Gaudi's Casa Milà.The Raval - this changing neighborhood- is also close. This will be your gateway to the historic old town during a stay without a car ..

The staff at Hotel Soho were nothing short of amazing! Very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well maintained, very comfortable and inviting. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value for money stay. From check-in to check-out, we had a top-notch experience. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great stay.
Hotel Soho is truly a unique and well-designed hotel. Their rooftop terrace was a great way to relax and take in the sights. The staff was friendly, informative and always available to help. The beds were always made and the room was kept spotless. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel's location provided easy access to transportation and the best of what the city has to offer. I highly recommend Hotel Soho to any traveler looking for comfort and convenience.
Positives: - An ideal location, within easy reach of all the major attractions in Barcelona, with the Urgell train station right at the door. - Neat and modern accommodations. - The helpful staff at the reception, happy to assist with any request. - A super rooftop terrace to soak up the sun or take a dip (it was quite a chilly dip when we visited in early April!). I almost gave this place a full five stars, but there were a couple of minor issues. My partner found the bed uncomfortable and I was disappointed that the tea and coffee station wasn’t refilled daily with the maid service. One day, it wasn’t filled at all, and the other day, the only option was decaf coffee, with no breakfast tea or regular coffee available. Very minor matters, though!
Staying at Hotel Soho was the perfect choice for our family of seven. With the Barcelona Airport bus bus route running every 10 minutes and the Urgell underground stop a mere 60 metre away, we had easy access to and from the airport and around the city. For those who prefer to travel on foot, the Ramblas is a fifteen minute stroll and numerous museums are located close by. Even for the more adventurous in our family, it was possible to take a leisurely walk from the Olympic Park on Mount Montjuïc and get a feel for the various districts of Barcelona. All the staff at reception were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
This hotel is conveniently located close to many popular attractions. As someone who loves to walk, it was great that the hotel was about two miles away from Gaudi's Familia and within one mile of the old town. Plus, there were plenty of great eateries in the same vicinity. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to take advantage of the hotel's pool or other amenities.
