Pork, which again was a lttle piece of meat with a few slices of potato and onion. Again, no veg. The third night there was beef in a wine sauce with what we assumed to be a gratin dauphinoise as the side.
I visited with my sister for a short break to celebrate my birthday. Pros - The check in process was fast and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable with fresh towels and bedsheets daily. The spa was excellent providing a Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, plus the best relaxation room with heated stone beds.Cons - The half-board meals were disappointing. The cooked breakfast items were cold and fatty. The dinner menu was the same for our entire stay and lacked vegetables. The duck was extremely small, while the pork and beef portions were tiny with no vegetables.
What a wonderful stay at Hotel & Spa Villa Olimpica Suites! The room was large and cozy, and the spa was perfect for relaxation. Best of all, it was just a 15 min walk to the beach and Barceloneta, which offered lots of great restaurants. Plus, the metro is only two minutes away, which made it easy to get to the city centre on line 4 (yellow). The staff was also very friendly, especially Alexandra who went above and beyond to find my rugby match on Spanish TV. I had a fantastic time here and would definitely stay here again.
The staff at this hotel was unfortunately very unhelpful. We asked for a fan to cool down the sauna-like room, but our requests were ignored. The hotel is close to a metro line, however nightclubs nearby made it impossible for us to sleep. Not only was the music loud, but it was also accompanied by screaming people at all hours of the night. We ended up having three sleepless nights and would never stay here again. The only positive thing we could say is that the spa was nice. All in all, a horrible experience.
I had a great stay at Hotel & Spa Villa Olimpica Suites. The staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable, while the spa facilities were superb. The hotel bar area was also great. We had breakfast there once, and while I think the price could have been slightly lower, overall the experience was really positive. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
Upon arriving at the Hotel & Spa Villa Olimpica Suites, we were pleasantly surprised. Located on a quite street, the hotel is close to public transportation, shopping centres and various restaurants and bars. The hotel was modern and clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was a family room, even though we booked a double, and was quite dark. It was also a bit cluttered with the extra sleeping spaces. It was also worth noting that there was no shampoo/conditioner provided, so be sure to bring your own. We stayed here for 4 nights and didn’t get a chance to try the food at the hotel, but we had some very pleasant evenings at the outdoor seating area by the pool, which had a nice ambiance for drinks and a chat. Overall, it was a great stay.
