My recent stay at a hotel in Barcelona was unfortunately tainted by the unprofessionalism of the concierge team. Upon arrival, we were met with hostility instead of a warm welcome. The concierge's behavior was not only cold, but also demeaning and discriminatory, which is unacceptable in a hospitality environment. Our experience only worsened when we were unfairly accused of being noisy for having our TV on in the room. This baseless claim, coupled with a patronizing remark about hotels being for rest, was not only insulting, but also showed a lack of regard for us as guests. I was disturbed by the concierge's sense of invulnerability, possibly due to their connection to the hotel's owner. This suggests a problematic culture of nepotism within the hotel, compromising accountability and negatively impacting the guest experience. Witnessing such unprofessionalism in a place that is expected to excel in customer service was shocking and unacceptable. This incident has not only ruined our stay, but also prevents me from recommending this hotel to others. I urge the management to take this critique seriously, as the reputation of a hotel heavily depends on how it treats its guests. When we attempted to discuss and resolve the misunderstanding, the concierge responded with further disrespect. We were told that simply asking a question was considered disrespectful, leaving us feeling belittled and mistreated. It is alarming that a hotel, whose main focus should be customer service, allows such unprofessional behavior. The lack of courtesy, politeness, and basic respect from the concierge has greatly impacted our perception of the hotel. I advise future guests to be wary of potential mistreatment, and I hope the management will reconsider their staff training and approach to customer service. Overall, my stay was overshadowed by this unfortunate incident, and it also didn't help that there was an unpleasant smell throughout the hotel.
The #htop BCN City #htopEnjoy Hotel in Barcelona provided my friends and I with a clean, quiet, and honest stay. Our room was fairly spacious and included an en suite toilet and shower. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Sagrada Familia and some great cafes for breakfast. We were also pleased to find two fast food outlets open late for when we wanted a quick meal. The hotel offered a great breakfast buffet at a reasonable price. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to our requests. We had a wonderful time at this hotel and would highly recommend it to other travelers.
If you're seeking luxury, this hotel may not be the best choice for you. However, my stay in room 304 was nothing short of amazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower had impressive water pressure. The room was clean and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Despite the negative reviews I had read beforehand, I decided to stick with my booking and I am so happy I did. This was easily one of the best budget hotels I have ever stayed in. The location was perfect, only a 30-second walk to SANT PAU RECINTE MODERNISTA - a must-see for the breathtaking architecture. The Sagrada Família was also just a 10-minute walk away. It was convenient to have two different hop on hop off bus stops nearby. Additionally, the buffet breakfast, which cost us €7.50 per person, offered a variety of choices and was definitely worth the money. An added bonus was the patisserie right across the street. We are already planning to come back and book here again.
This affordable hotel located in the center of the city was a satisfactory option for budget-conscious travelers. While the rooms were on the smaller side, they were kept clean and in good condition. The staff were attentive and amiable, readily available to offer assistance. All in all, it's a solid choice for those prioritizing convenience and customer service over luxurious accommodations.
I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. The room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Plus, the convenience of having a metro station nearby was a major plus. We encountered absolutely no issues during our time here. Overall, it was definitely a great choice and provided excellent value for money. I highly recommend it ?.
