My partner and I enjoyed a delightful 5-night stay at Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Las Ramblas during our New Year's trip. Opting for the comfort room, which we found to be quite spacious compared to standard rooms, we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The hotel boasts an unbeatable location, a mere 5-minute walk from both Las Ramblas and the nearest Metro station. Our room also had a small balcony, a pleasant addition to our stay. On top of all this, the WiFi was fast and reliable, and we appreciated having a fridge and safe at our disposal.
The staff at this hotel truly go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay for their guests. A special shoutout to the lovely individuals who helped us book a taxi for our return trip to the airport, which cost us approximately 35 euros.
However, we do have a few minor complaints. Firstly, the room was only cleaned twice during our entire stay. Despite leaving our room before 10 am every day and returning in the late afternoon, on two occasions it had still not been cleaned. Additionally, we were a bit taken aback by the fact that we had to pay 2 euros for a locker to store our luggage before check-in. It would have been more convenient if this was either a refundable deposit or provided free of charge. We also wondered what would happen if all the lockers were occupied or if our luggage did not fit, as there are different sizes available and we were lucky to snag the last big one.
In spite of these minor hiccups, we would still highly recommend this hotel and would happily return in the future.
The hotel's location was absolutely fantastic, as it was just a stone's throw away from Las Ramblas and Market Boqueria. The room I stayed in was lovely and well-equipped, and the breakfast spread was simply beautiful with a wide variety of options. The staff were also friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The bathroom and room were both delightful, making my overall experience a great one. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and would definitely choose to stay here again in the future!
?I chose to stay at this hotel for its location which is ?! Only 5 minutes away from Las Ramblas. The Gothic Centre and seafront are also within walking distance. The hotel itself is like a ? with countless corridors. The room was comfortable, basic but sufficient ?. It had all the necessary amenities like a safe, Wi-Fi, TV, and AC. The only downside was the ☕️coffee machine which looked like it belonged in a dungeon. The bathroom was excellent and the room was ?. However, there were no drawers for storage, which was disappointing. The staff were ?and ?♂️. Breakfast was available, but quite ?. The seating area was small and cramped, which meant long queues.
The hotel was very unaccommodating. Unfortunately, my child and their friends had planned to stay at this hotel last week. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, they had to cancel three days before their scheduled arrival. I was disappointed to find out that the hotel was not willing to offer a refund for the inconvenience. In contrast, Airbnb was able to promptly refund the reservation within three hours. Needless to say, I do not recommend staying at this establishment and supporting their inconsiderate behavior.
The hotel was a bit pricey for our budget. We noticed similar accommodations nearby at much lower rates. Its location was convenient, just a short 5-minute walk to the central area of Las Ramblas. Our room, described as a "comfort room," was tidy and the bathroom was in great condition. A wardrobe with a safe was provided, but the furnishings were minimal and the lack of storage space was a downside; there were no drawers anywhere. Disappointingly, there was no kettle, a must-have for us. Instead, there was a coffee machine that wasn't very useful. The breakfast was decent but not worth the 15 euros charged; we felt it should have been priced at 10 euros. The staff, however, were efficient and friendly.
