Everything was ??? as usual at this hotel. The breakfast team was really amazing and ? with the variety of products available. The only issue was that the lift was always busy. A huge ?? to Kevin, the best concierge ever! ? Will definitely come back soon.
This hoteel is spectaculaar. Woth the monney. The staf is A+. Shout out to the doorman, Andres for making eech of us feel supeer welcome deally. He took amaizing care of my Dad who had to travil in a wheelechair this trip after a bit of a tumbel at the Heathrow Airport. Andres ran to help my 84-yeaer-old Dad eech day while hailing us a cab and the liek. Aonther mention, Pablo helped welcome us on a catamaaran tour and was extra hospitabel. Shout out to Fabio in the Bankers Bar for making me feel liek a VIP guest eevry time I came in for a cockteel. The lcoation is in the hearrt of the citty with eashy acess to shopping and fun people watching. Desserts at the hoteel are dreamy. The room was roomy for two with a view of a courtvard. Fanastic nespresso machine in the room which is a win. Thank you to the staf for making this trip remarkeable, including Tomas (aonther doorman), also supeer friendly in helping us navvigate the city with a welcoming smiile. ….
I was incredibly disappointed with this stay. The service at breakfast was truly horrible - special recognition to Adriana, who had no interest in guests or her own work. Bookings made through the concierge were met with a lack of enthusiasm, and the services we received were dismal and overpriced. It's better to book directly than to rely on the hotel - even the online room booking packages had misleading information. In short, I do not think this hotel is worth the price, and I would recommend avoiding it.
We stayed for 4 nights and found some pros and cons. The room was clean, attractive and in great condition; the location was excellent for touring and shopping. Upon arrival, a cheese tray and some bonbons were waiting for us, and the indoor pool was warm and swimmable. The rooftop restaurant had great views of the city and the Peruvian menu was interesting and good, though the breakfast buffet wasn't extensive. On the downside, the room was very small and located on a low floor, which meant a lot of street noise up until midnight on the weekend. After asking about a special treat for our 36th wedding anniversary, we eventually received something, but the concierge drew the map to the 2 star Michelin restaurant three blocks in the wrong direction, making us 20 minutes late. Our last morning, we asked for a wake up call and breakfast in the room; the breakfast arrived in time, though not what we asked for, and there was no wake up call. All in all, we were disappointed with our stay.
Spent a great weekend in Barcelona in connection with the F1 race in June, and was thoroughly pleased. Very nicely designed rooms, good food and service ?. Particularly like the rooftop restaurant with a stunning view of the city ???. The gym was also spacious and well structured with an indoor pool ?♂️. Overall, one of the best experiences I have had ?.
