We arrived to find the hotel in a great, secure part of Barcelona with lots of restaurants and attractions close by. The hotel was modern and spotless, the rooms including our own were stunning. Our bathroom had the most unique amenities - toothbrushes, manual shavers, combs and a wastebasket, all with wooden handles or made of wood. There was a huge shower and closed off commode area with sliding glass doors. Our room was quiet and spacious on the third floor, overlooking the street. It was soundproofed from the street and even from the neighbouring rooms and hallways, with HVAC that was whisper quiet. Inside, it was equipped with two chairs - one for a desk and one wingback - with a flat screen TV that had many channels, though not many in English. As a nice touch, it had a small, sturdy, high-quality cordless Bose Bluetooth speaker which let us easily link up our phone. Breakfast was impressive with a wait staff bringing trays of great pastries, and an Iberico ham leg with staff slicing off slivers, as well as a variety of cheeses, cold cuts, and a delectable rustic multi-grain bread. We even took some food back to our room. The staff were impeccable, offering the utmost service, from the front desk, dining room and concierge. They even provided us a wheelchair for my injured knees during the entire stay. One staff member kindly offered to push my wheelchair to a nearby restaurant 1.5 blocks away. We even asked for a van for a 4-hour tour of the city, which the concierge Kevin helped with by tracing out a map for the places we wished to see. The spa was a bit small, with an indoor pool but no whirlpool, and they offered massages. There was also a beautiful outdoor multi-level garden with metal animal sculptures, though sadly I wasn't able to access the different levels in my wheelchair. We also went to the small outdoor rooftop garden which had lovely views and a shallow pool for wading, as well as lounge chairs and seats at tables with staff serving drinks and a small food menu. We recommend the Iberico ham croquettes - we had them at least 4 times! On our last day, as we came back from our tour of the city, we were disappointed to find that our room hadn't been made up. When we called to ask for more ice, we got chocolates, a large bar of white chocolate with the city's skyline, and a bottle of champagne - all on the house. Though we had to get up early, they even packed a picnic basket for us, which was in a large, insulated cooler with their logo. Inside were sandwiches, pastries, two fruit salads and small desserts. Our stay was wonderful and we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Having stayed in a lot of different hotels around the world I would rate this one as one of the best in the group. Location is amazing, rooms are fabulous and staff is absolutely amazing. The moment you walk in you will be treated like a best friend. Everyone is extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast and spa are also flawless. Make sure you have dinner at the restaurant. We can’t wait to return. Thank you very much for the perfect experience. Highly recommend for a special trip to one of the most wonderful cities in the world.

?❤️?☺️?

Upon arriving we saw that this hotel was in a very good, safe part of the city with great restaurants and sightseeing close by. The inside of the hotel, as were the rooms (our bathroom was totally enclosed in smoked glass walls), was modern and looked like new - very stunning. Our bathroom's amenities were very unique, with the toothbrushes, hair combs, etc., all having wood handles or even being made of entirely solid wood. There was a very large shower as well as the commode area, which was able to be closed off from the rest of the bathroom with a sliding glass door. Our spacious room was on the 3rd floor facing the street with a nice view but was very well sound-insulated, even from the adjoining rooms and hallway. There were two chairs, one for the desk and one high-backed upholstered, with a flat screen TV which received a plethora of stations - but the majority weren't English. A nice touch was a small, very heavy (think quality) powered Bose Bluetooth stereo speaker to which you can link your phone. The included breakfast buffet was the most extensive we've ever seen, including a staff member shaving off slivers of top-of-the-line Iberico ham from a large leg, a great selection of cheeses, cold cuts (but don't fill up on those - you can get them at home in your grocery store). There was a waitress coming to our table with a tray of different pastries (again, you can get these at home), but at the buffet table there was a simply delicious rustic multigrain bread that was out of this world. They even let us bring some of the food from the buffet to our room. The service and staff, from the front desk, dining room, concierge, and others, was nothing short of impeccable. One day we wanted to dine at a restaurant about 1 1/2 blocks from the hotel and a staff member volunteered to push my wheelchair all the way there, giving my wife a much-needed break. In fact, we had asked one of the concierge staff to hire us a van for a 4-hour tour of Barcelona and he gave us a map where he traced our route for the places we were interested in seeing. Both my knees were in medical-grade braces and the hotel provided me with a wheelchair which they also had our driver take with us on our tour. The spa was a bit small, with a small indoor pool but no whirlpool, and they did offer massages but we didn't use any of their facilities because it was too warm in the spa area. There is a beautiful outside multi-level garden on one of the lower floors which has plenty of different seats but what was most notable were the life-size metal animal sculptures dispersed throughout the area. My one disappointment was that I couldn't access the different levels in my wheelchair. One day we went to the small outdoor rooftop garden which had breathtaking views of the city, a shallow, long, negative-edge pool for wading (I don't know whether it was deep enough to be a lap pool), lounge chairs and cushioned chairs at tables with staff serving drinks and a limited food menu. This was a very pleasant place to relax and enjoy the great food and drinks. I recommend sampling the Iberico ham croquettes - we ordered them at least 4 times during our 3 night stay. On the day before we left we had gone out for our tour of the city and came back at around 3:30pm - 4:00pm and found that our room hadn't been made up. We had to leave early the next morning for our flight back home so we had to pack. I called for more ice and they asked me if there was anything else I wanted so, since they asked, I told them I was disappointed that our room hadn't been made up. They were very concerned and wanted to make up the room but I told them at that point it would be too much of an inconvenience because we had already began packing up and had our belongings strewn all over the room, so please just give us more ice. A few minutes later there was a knock at our door and a supervisor was there, profusely apologizing for the lapse in housekeeping. Not only did he bring our ice but he had a lot of chocolates for us (even one very large bar of white chocolate with the city's skyline embossed on it which I would have brought home but it didn't come in a box or wrapper) and a bottle of champagne, which he insisted we take but we had to pack and get up early so we didn't feel like consuming any more alcohol at the time and politely declined. He then asked us what time we were leaving the next morning and told us

Had a great stay in this accommodation. Its Junior Suite is absolutely stunning and the service was faultless. Being conveniently located for the city, we had a fantastic time exploring the area, and enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Moments - which has two deserved Michelin stars. Whilst the common areas appear a little plain and lacking in warmth, the pool and gym are second to none and I'd highly recommend it all round - not just for the location, but also its wonderful services!
