All in all our stay at this hotel was a huge let down .
The hotel staff are not friendly at all and didn't try to help when we reported about the issues. The lobby is small and very uninviting. The rooms are basic with nothing but a bed and a desk, no TV or Wi-Fi. The air conditioning is not working in most of the rooms. The housekeeping is a joke, it's been a few days we stayed here and no one has cleaned our room. The bed sheets and towels are old, not replaced or changed during our stay. Even the breakfast is not up to the mark, just bread and butter. All in all it's a complete waste of money and time, I would not recommend this to anyone.
Review of May ramblas hotel Barcelona Spain. Tuesday 03.12.23- Thursday 05.12.23: Great location, room 512 was pleasant and surprisingly spacious. The shower in the bathroom was great and the staff were incredibly friendly. No breakfast option available, however there are various places nearby to grab a bite to eat and a coffee. La ramblas is a very short walk away, as is El Ray de Istanbul, Gelatiamo, Roxyfocasseriacafe, Lavassio and the Marmagnum mall. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.
The rooms at May Ramblas Hotel were quite small but suited our needs. The beds were comfortable and the air-con was really helpful in the heat - it worked really well. The hotel was very clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned each day and the receptionists were always willing to help with any queries. It was great to be so close to attractions such as La Ramblas and Liceu Metro station which made it very convenient for us to explore the city. We did find the area to be quite noisy during the night, but with the help of the air conditioning it was easy to drown out any loudness. All in all, May Ramblas Hotel was a great hotel for our stay in Barcelona.
