The check-in was polite, but the service left a lot to be desired. The room was clean, but in need of refurbishment, damage to the walls, the shower falling off the wall, and a table top covered in scratches. We were placed in a connecting room, which made the last night quite noisy. When I asked for a pair of slippers, I was bluntly told that these were only for superior rooms. To top it off, the room only had three plugs, not sufficient for two people. I asked if I could leave my device at reception to charge, but was told it would not be safe and might not even get charged. Although the location was passable, the overall service was poor. The only beacon of politeness was the man who took our bags the last day - he was the first person to actually smile at us.
The room I had was spacious and comfortable, with aircon and plenty of power outlets. Clean and modern furnishings and a great view of Barcelona. I also had a nice dinner in the restaurant, with great service. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommended.
We stayed at the NH Barcelona Diagonal Center while taking a break between a cruise and flying home. The hotel was ideal for what we needed: the room was clean, the shower was excellent and had great toiletries, and there was a hair dryer provided. There is also a beach nearby which is within walking distance. Moreover, their transport provided a reasonable charge for taking us to the airport. All in all, our experience was great and couldn't have asked for anything more!
My stay at NH Barcelona Diagonal Center was great. The rooms were neat and clean with a good size. The staff was so kind and accommodating throughout my visit. I really enjoyed the tasty breakfast they served everyday. It was a great way to start the day. The hotel is conveniently located near public transportation and other attractions around Barcelona. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay!
