This hotel was a convenient option for our short stay in Barcelona. It was in a great location and provided a comfortable stay. We chose this hotel as a place to rest before boarding our cruise ship, which was only a quick drive away. However, there was one issue that bothered us. The hotel staff insisted that we couldn't use Uber in the city, so they arranged a cab for us. But in reality, we found out that Uber was indeed available and the cab ended up overcharging us. Despite reaching out to the hotel multiple times for an explanation, we have yet to receive a response. Overall, we would recommend staying at this hotel, but be wary of using their cab services.

During my stay at the "Paral·lel" Hotel in Barcelona, I was disappointed with the room's lighting. It was poorly lit, making it difficult to see and do tasks. Additionally, there was no space to make tea, and I had to resort to plugging the kettle in the bathroom. The breakfast offered limited options for hot food, which was a letdown. I also found the plug sockets in the room to be unsafe. Furthermore, the room lacked comfortable seating options, leaving only the beds to sit on. Unfortunately, even sitting on the bed was uncomfortable due to a poorly positioned shelf at neck height.

The hotel's location was fantastic, with a nearby metro station and a short walk to popular spots like the Rambla. However, like other guests, I found the bed to be uncomfortable and the noise from Paral.lel avenue and the metro trains quite bothersome. It was only quiet after midnight and the trains started again before 6am, so I didn't even need an alarm. Overall, I would not recommend this place for anything longer than a one night stay as my 4-night stay was quite challenging.

During my stay in Barcelona, I was assigned to a single room on the first level. Unfortunately, the constant noise from the subway passing underneath and the loud revelers on the street made it nearly impossible for me to get any sleep during my three nights there. While the rest of the hotel was satisfactory, I would caution against staying in a room facing the front of the building. Despite my request, I was not able to be moved to a different room.

3 days at this place was more than enough - truth be told, I'm quite the picky one - but the quality of the bed in a hotel is key, and the large pillows and extermely hard mattress here made it unbearable to sleep on - definitely not a place I recommend.
