This place is ?! We stayed here for a couple of nights and were really pleased with it. The location is ?, the rooms were neat and tidy, and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was good - not too much but enough to get you going in the morning. We'd highly recommend it for spending a few days and just using it as a place to sleep and eat. ?✨??
For the price of the stay, you would expect the location to be of a better standard. Unfortunately, it can't be said the same for the customer service. The receptionists are far from friendly, unhelpful and do not make you feel welcome. Additionally, there is no guarantee of what type of bed you will receive after booking. So keep that in mind before booking - you may end up on opposite ends of the room!

My experience at the "Paral·lel" Hotel in Barcelona was mostly positive. The staff were friendly, the location was great, the breakfast was tasty and the bed was comfortable. However, the soundproofing in the room was not ideal and I could hear quite a bit of noise from outside and inside. Unfortunately, due to the layout of the hotel, my room was next to the buffet and the noise started at 7 o'clock in the morning. In addition, the lighting in the room was very poor.
I had a great stay at this hotel! The breakfast was amazing and the reception was very helpful. The location was also perfect since the metro station was only a 3-minute walk away. Everything you need was close-by ✅. The only downside was the lack of ventilation and a toilet brush in the bathroom, and there was a bit of noise from the street and neighboring rooms ?. All in all, a very pleasant experience ?!
I was very disappointed by my stay at Paral·lel. The room was outdated and not as clean as I would have expected. Furthermore, the air conditioning unit gave off an unpleasant smell of raw sewage that filled the room. This is not a place I would return to or recommend. I have stayed here a handful of times over the years, and the quality of the facilities have declined all the while.
