Staying at this hotel was a pretty disappointing experience ?. The check-in process was incredibly slow and tedious ?, despite the fact that I had already filled out all the forms online beforehand. The room was extremely noisy ?, to the point where I could hear people talking in the next room. The air conditioning was also not great ?. All in all, not an enjoyable stay ?.
This place is a true 2 star hotel. It's more like a higher end hostel than anything else, so it's not really suitable for families. The rooms are really small - we're a family of 3 and we found staying there for 4 nights extremely cramped (we booked a standard twin room). The photos on their website don't accurately reflect that. It's also quite tough to move around the hallways with a stroller. On top of that, you have to go down and ask for three sets of towels, since they just brought two every day until our last day. As for location, it's not as great as they make it sound - it's a 25 minute walk from La Rambla, not 10 minutes as they advertise.
On the plus side, the hotel is very clean and the breakfast buffet was good. There was a nice person there too. And it's close enough to the L3 metro stop.
For single travellers in their twenties, this place might be alright. But anyone else should look elsewhere, since it's not great value for money. You get a tiny room in a so-so location with no extra amenities.
I had an unforgettable stay at this hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable and it was so enjoyable to spend the evening in the room with the terrace. Cleanliness was top-notch and the staff were incredibly friendly. The hotel was in close proximity to the metro station, so it was easy to get around. Definitely a great choice for anyone visiting the city.
I stayed with my family at the "Paral·lel" Hotel in Barcelona and what a disappointment it was! The price/quality definitely didn't match - we were supposed to have one large bed, but we ended up in a room with 3 beds and not enough light, with 4 bulbs, two of which didn't even work! The bathroom was in very poor condition, with a sewage smell and plumbing that was dirty and unpleasant. The view from our room wasn't anything to write home about either - a terrible house with disgusting balconies. All in all, I can't recommend this hotel at all - it's just a waste of money and not worth a single cent.

We had an amazing stay this week. The location was great for seeing the sights (we bought a public transport pass and took the Metro quite often). Our room was spotless and in great condition, and the housekeeps went above and beyond if we asked for extra services. The room was big and we were lucky to not hear any of the noises our friends had mentioned about their room (we were in 211). The beds were really comfortable and the pillows were soft. The amenities were good too - free Wi-Fi, a mini fridge with water and working air con. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and very helpful. We didn't try the restaurant, so can't comment on that. All in all, it was a great experience and we'd love to come back.
