This review is meant to be both helpful feedback and a future reference for other travelers. I'll break down my experiences in order so you can fully understand my perspective. Starting off, the hotel is located a couple blocks from the main square and is easily accessible by foot. However, if you're coming from the square, take the second left instead of the busy main street for an easier walk. The hotel itself has a modern and spacious lobby, and the reception staff were welcoming and quick to check us in. Our room on the fourth floor was bright and airy, with a terrace that unfortunately lacked proper maintenance. The plants were dead and in need of some TLC, and the metal guards around the balcony were loose and potentially dangerous. The terrace itself was in need of some repair as well. Moving on to the room, the bathroom had a nice touch of a frosted glass door, but we later noticed some small issues like a falling strip light and a water-stained metal tap. The shower, however, was powerful and had multiple settings to choose from. The main door of the room had some visible wear and tear, as did the rest of the doors and skirting boards on the fourth floor. Breakfast was included in our stay, but unfortunately, the food options were not up to par. The hot food was unappetizing, and the cold items were not replenished quickly enough. The staff we encountered were all friendly and polite, but some of the issues we noticed should have been addressed. Overall, while the hotel has potential, it falls short due to poor maintenance and execution. I hope the issues are addressed so that I can consider staying here again in the future. Our stay was not bad, but for the price we paid, it was not worth it. I hope this review is taken as constructive feedback and that improvements will be made. (I have included photos of the disappointing terrace.)
Located in the heart of Barcelona, this hotel offers a convenient location but falls short in some aspects. The room was adequately sized, but lacked personality and felt worn out. The bed, however, was comfortable and the wifi worked seamlessly. Disappointingly, the service did not live up to the expectations of a 4-star hotel.
My friends and I recently stayed at a hotel in Barcelona for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and even gave us a complimentary breakfast. They had a full continental breakfast option available which was great. On our last day, we had a late flight and the staff kindly let us store our baggage at the hotel until we were ready to leave. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Our accommodations in Barcelona were made incredibly comfortable and pleasant by the staff. Their helpfulness added to the chicness of our overall travel experience. Without a doubt, we will choose this hotel again when returning to the city.
The personnel at this hotel were extremely hospitable and accommodating, making both the check-in and check-out experiences pleasant. We followed their suggestion and submitted our details online before our trip, which helped expedite the process. The location was fantastic, with Gaudi buildings, the Ramblas, outdoor eateries, and shopping opportunities all within a 3-5 minute walk. The breakfast was also enjoyable. Our room had a balcony which faced the street, but the multiple, well-insulated doors ensured there was no noise disturbance at night. Additionally, there were subway stations just 2-4 minutes away.
