We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at the Praktik Bakery Hotel in Barcelona. Its close proximity to La Pedrera and the abundance of nearby touristic attractions make it the perfect central location for those looking to explore the city. What makes this hotel so special is the presence of a bakery located in the reception lobby, with the smell of freshly baked goods wafting through the air each morning. Unfortunately, not all rooms get to enjoy this treat, but luckily Rooms 202 and 214 do. Rut, the friendly, efficient and hard-working lady at the reception is always there to help. The rooms are on the small side, but they are clean and functional. There are no fridges or extra amenities, however, the shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion are all of high quality. Breakfast at the bakery is an optional buffet with a good selection of baked goods, bread, fruits, Ibérico ham, cold cuts, boiled eggs, yoghurt, cereal, coffee and tea, orange juice and cold milk for a reasonable price. Overall, this is a unique hotel experience which I recommend for those looking for something different and memorable. It may not be fancy, but it is truly delicious!
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The freshly baked goods for breakfast were the highlight of our mornings and the perfect way to start the day ?. Just 2 blocks away from the bustling main street ?, this hotel was also surprisingly clean and comfortable. Though we did get stuck in the elevator ? for 10 minutes (which only happened once) we would still happily come back if we were ever in the area again! ?
We had a great experience at this hotel! Our double exterior room, room 605, was located on the top floor at the end of the corridor, making it very quiet. We even had a French balcony with a view of the Sagrada Familia in the distance. The layout of the rooms was unique, with the bedroom separated from the bathroom by a sliding door. Every morning we could smell the delicious freshly baked bread ahead of breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were cozy. The TV was a nice addition. Altogether, it was a wonderful stay.

The Praktik Bakery provides an excellent stay experience for those looking for a unique experience in Barcelona. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, led by the wonderful Ruth at the reception who goes out of her way to make sure you have the best experience possible. The hotel also has a fantastic bakery on the ground floor which is worth a visit. The breakfast provided is top notch and the showers are amazing after a long day out. Highly recommended for its location, service and comfort.

Disappointing stay at Praktik Bakery. The staff was lovely but unfortunately, the hotel failed on the little details that make a stay truly enjoyable. As soon as I entered the room, I discovered that the toilet was right next to the front door. On top of that, the prices for pre-booked breakfast were too expensive, so I had to buy them separately. I also left a gift in the room for my fiance, but when I asked the receptionist, they had completely forgotten about it. Lastly, it was cold, and the prices for drinks were incredibly high - I paid over 80 euros for a champagne which I later found out costs 4 euros in the supermarket.
