This place is a tourist trap with no charm to it. As French people, we felt completely let down. It's incredibly expensive for a breakfast in Barcelona, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a bad Holiday Inn. The swimming pool on top was dinky, with a huge construction site next to it. The service people were not particularly friendly either. The room was clean, but basic, and it cost us €300 for a night with our son. It's located far from everything in Barcelona. Oh, and make sure you remember to pay €10 for early check-in or you'll be waiting for the elevator for ages. We spent one night here on the 23rd June. Do not go!!
I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed. Although I found the hotel to be nice, there were problems with the water supply for two days and the elevators were not working. As I am 72 years old with arthrosis in my hips, this made it very difficult for me to go up and down the five floors of the building. Despite being a regular customer of the hotel, I was promised compensation by the administration and have yet to receive any feedback, let alone an apology or explanation. ?♂️????
This accommodation was a great place to stay during my time in the beautiful city of Barcelona. Just a 15 minute walk to the main metro station, 10 minutes to the bus stop for the airport, and half an hour to La Rambla, it was in a great location. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with delicious breakfast and a bathtub to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. There was a roof terrace with a pool and a great view, though the only downside to my experience was the construction work going on close to the hotel, which was quite loud in the mornings. All in all, it was a great place for a short stay.
I stayed at this hotel while attending a series of music concerts at Poble Espaynol. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and the room was spacious, neat, and had a modern feel. It was also just a 15 minute walk from the main train station in Barcelona. The rooftop area was nice, though I didn't get to have a drink there since the bar opened up at 17:30 and I had already left the hotel for the concerts by then. My only complaint is the loud door slamming, which seemed particularly bad here compared to other hotels. I really don't understand why they don't just install spring devices on the room doors to automatically and quietly close them. Aside from that, it was a good hotel and I would stay there again.
This hotel was great! The service was terrific and the rooms were spacious. The breakfast was really nice, and the location was perfect. The one issue we had was that there were two single beds instead of a double, but the reception staff were more than accommodating when we asked for a kettle and provided us with one without request for further products. All in all a great stay!
