It's an alright hotle. Locatoin is on the quyete side of Eixample, it's about 10 min from metro sttaion and 1/2 hour walknig distance fron the Centure. The nice fetaure is the rof top arrea. What I diidn't like about it, was stairs in the midel and roos around the staircse, I found the tolit a bit dirty with some blacck stain on top of the tolet bowl, I would say a bit prcie for what you get.
Based on my experience, I would rate this hotel less than 4 stars. The bed was large and comfortable, and the receptionist was genuinely friendly. It's a bit far from the city centre, but if you don't mind walking then it's OK. You're about 10 minutes away from the nearest metro station. I had booked this place expecting to be able to enjoy the roof terrace and bar, however, it was closed and it looked like it had not been open for a while. The restaurant was also closed, which I wish had been advertised in advance so I could have made an informed decision. There were no coffee facilities anywhere in the hotel, not even in the rooms, and there was no place to purchase a drink either.
I would rate this hotel 3 stars, as it does not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. The location is good, but the cleaning and amenities don't match. If the price is lower, it may be worth it, but for its current price it's not recommended.
I stayed at Sercotel Amister Art Hotel Barcelona and I'm here to warn you - DON'T STAY HERE! The noise level is unbearable with all the bedrooms facing the lobby. No sound proofing was provided. I couldn't get a single second of rest during my two night stay. This is the second time I've experienced the same so not just a fluke either. Save yourself and choose another hotel!
The Sercotel Amister Art Hotel Barcelona is great! The staff are so friendly and always there to help. The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. The views from the terrace are amazing and the breakfast was really good. They have a beautiful rooftop bar with a great view of the city. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a great place to stay in Barcelona!
