Overall its okay value for the money. The reception staff could be more welcoming and polite to the guests. The pool and terrace areas are nice. The rooms are comfortable. While the breakfast could use some improvement - many items were not freshly made.
I wouldn't stay at this place again. Gym opened too late, and wasn't well-stocked. The staff didn't seem to mind. Skip the hotel's breakfast; it's way over-priced and not really anything special. The rooftop was a disappointment too, no bar and they asked us to leave at 10pm. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner and washcloth as these items weren't provided.
This was my first time staying at this accommodation. I was conveniently located close to Placa de Catalunya and several attractions. I liked that it was far away enough from La Rambla that you wouldn't get the noise and craziness. My double room included two double beds that could be separated if needed. The room was equipped with all necessary amenities. The shower was a bit tricky. It would initially give out water that was either too hot or too cold, and then even out. If you had it on full blast though, it could cause your bathroom to flood as there are no drains on the tile floor. All in all, I'd definitely stay here again if the price was right.
I stayed at the Silken Ramblas and absolutely loved it! The location is perfect - right in the centre of the city and close to all the best shopping. The service is top notch and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and had all the amenities I needed. Breakfast was also delicious - there was a great selection of fruit, bread and other food. I can't recommend this hotel enough - it definitely deserves 5 stars!
Had an amazing experience staying at the Silken Ramblas. Me and my partner were there for two nights in February. The location is perfect - right in the heart of the city - and the staff were incredibly friendly. We also got breakfast included with our stay which was great, with a good choice of food. The gym and sauna were small but still useful and the drinks from the bar are fantastic - the sangria was particularly delicious. All in all, the price of this hotel is unbeatable and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great stay.
