Sir Victor Hotel, part of Sircle Collection
About
Magnificent design rooms
All the expertise of the "SIRCLE Collection" group is concentrated in this hotel to satisfy the international jet set as well as the local gotha. Sir Victor Hotel (formerly OMM Hotel) is ideally located on the corner of Passeig de Gracia and not far from Gaudi's Pedrera, which can be seen from the terrace.
Some people only go there for its famous Mister Porter's restaurant. We loved its striking façade, its magnificent, comfortable designer rooms, its swimming pool on the roof terrace facing the Pedrera, its spa and its famous new-look hairdressing salon... It's an atmosphere that's hard to leave...

I recently stayed at a hotel in Barcelona and while the location and neighborhood were fantastic, I was disappointed by the rooms. The bathroom door couldn't close properly as it was off the track, and the basin didn't drain well. The furniture was awkwardly placed and there was no side table or plugs for convenience. I did bring these issues to the attention of management, but unfortunately there was no acknowledgement or effort to address the discomfort caused. Overall, the room was not up to par with a 5 star hotel and certainly not worth the price.
We recently returned from our trip to Spain, where we explored Barcelona and Madrid. During our stay, we found a comfortable and luxurious accommodation for five nights. It was conveniently situated at the corner of an upscale shopping street, making it the perfect choice for those looking to indulge in some retail therapy. For coffee lovers, there was a Starbucks just around the corner. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's modern decor, and our room had a great view of the bustling street. The use of glass bottles instead of plastic for drinking water was a nice touch. We also loved the spacious bar in the lobby, perfect for a pre-dinner drink. Breakfast was served from 7:30 am (8am on weekends), offering a good selection but with limited choices. If your plans involve an early tour or arrival after 11am, it's better to skip the breakfast option when booking. Unfortunately, we didn't think of this and ended up missing out on the first day's breakfast since we arrived at 6pm. However, the staff was extremely friendly and professional throughout our stay. On our first night, we enjoyed some delicious drinks and food on the rooftop. Although we didn't get a chance to try the main restaurant, we were fortunate enough to be there on a weekend when they had a lively club night, allowing us to mingle with other hotel guests and people-watch. Overall, we had a wonderful time at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful city.
The hotel staff ? was so helpful and friendly ? The bed was ? super comfortable and the cleaning service was top-notch ? The restaurant ? was outstanding and the rooftop bar ? had amazing views of the city ? I stayed for 8 nights and never wanted to leave ?
This hotel unfortunately falls short of expectations when it comes to service. The room itself was nice, but the comfort and peace of mind one expects from a hotel weren't there. The bed was uncomfortable, and it was quite noisy. Even the housekeeping service didn't meet expectations.
I booked through the Marriott app as a titanium elite member. At the reception at the check in they told us that unfortunately it was not possible to get a room upgrade but the breakfast would be complementary. At the check out another receptionist charged almost 200 euro for the 2 days breakfast. I asked the supervisor, but he repeated the same story. I will be getting in contact with Marriott directly this week to sort out this issue. Unfortunately, this hotel did not provide a 5 star level of service. It was really disappointing to witness the way they treated their guests! What a shame!
