Sir Victor Hotel, part of Sircle Collection
About
Magnificent design rooms
All the expertise of the "SIRCLE Collection" group is concentrated in this hotel to satisfy the international jet set as well as the local gotha. Sir Victor Hotel (formerly OMM Hotel) is ideally located on the corner of Passeig de Gracia and not far from Gaudi's Pedrera, which can be seen from the terrace.
Some people only go there for its famous Mister Porter's restaurant. We loved its striking façade, its magnificent, comfortable designer rooms, its swimming pool on the roof terrace facing the Pedrera, its spa and its famous new-look hairdressing salon... It's an atmosphere that's hard to leave...

Every time I've been to Barcelona this hotel was my home--or so I thought. But my last trip was the last straw. I found wax and hair on my face towel, and they charged me twice for my entire stay on two separate cards. The package I sent via FedEx was sent back twice, and the housekeeping was absolutely repulsive. The desk staff were completely incompetent; there was zero customer service, and they weren't willing to take blame or even apologize. This doesn't deserve five stars; I won't stay here again and the management doesn't even seem to care.
During my trip to Barcelona I stayed in a hotel located conveniently near Casa Mila and the main shopping street. The exterior of the hotel had beautiful architecture, and the interior lobby and restaurant were elegantly designed. However, the rooms were only average. The wood floors badly needed to be refinished, and the bathing area and tub in the suite were unsatisfactory. The side lights did not work and the lighting was inadequate. The furniture was also very basic. The front desk staff and valet service were rather slow and unhelpful when it came to requests. The air conditioning did not work properly either, it never cooled below 19c despite being serviced twice. On the flip side, the roof terrace and plunge pool were fantastic. The food and drinks were also of an excellent quality. Overall, the experience was good but it was not worth the expensive price tag.
Had a satisfactory stay at this hotel. The staff were lovely and so was the rooftop. However, the hallway colors were a bit too dark and the lighting in the room was not quite sufficient. The interior design was attempting to be modern and unique, but ended up missing the mark. The room itself was cozy, although the layout of the bathroom and shower enclosure was odd and leaked a bit.
