Sonder Casa Luz

The hotel's location was fantastic, easily reachable via Aerobus A2. Many popular tourist spots like the Casa Batllo and La Rambla were just a short walk away. The staff went above and beyond, with their quick and efficient communication via WhatsApp. The room was immaculate and spacious, with a delightful balcony. The central heating kept the temperature just perfect. However, we were disappointed that the rooftop restaurant was closed on the night of our stay, possibly due to the Three Festival happening in the city.

During my visit to Barcelona, I had a truly wonderful experience at a hotel with a charming atmosphere and exceptional décor. The check-in process was effortless and I was even able to store my luggage before my room was ready. Speaking of the room, it was absolutely stunning with a large, comfortable bed and a luxurious shower. I also had the opportunity to dine at the hotel's rooftop bar and restaurant on my first night. The cocktails were superb and the bartender went above and beyond to make me some off-menu creations. As a solo traveler, I appreciate how accommodating and friendly the staff was. Overall, my stay was flawless and I have already made reservations for another Sonder property in Edinburgh. However, I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel in Barcelona.

Our 3-night stay in Bari Gothic, a popular area in Barcelona, was hassle-free thanks to the top-notch accommodations at a nearby Sonder hotel. As avid travelers who have previously stayed at another Sonder in Milan, our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. Our room in Bari Gothic was immaculate and surpassed all expectations. However, our only issue was with the noise from a neighboring club that kept us awake all night. We were aware that the area was known for its vibrant nightlife and would be more suitable for those in their 20s and 30s. Nonetheless, we spoke to the friendly and helpful Ricardo at the front desk the next morning, who went above and beyond to find us a room in another Sonder hotel in the Gracia area of Barcelona. Once again, the room exceeded our expectations, and the staff we encountered were all incredibly professional, accommodating, and a pleasure to interact with. If we could, we would give them 10 stars for their outstanding service. Thank you Ricardo and the Sonder hotels team for making our stay in Barcelona unforgettable.

The establishment's location, service, hygiene, scenic room, and overall experience were all exceptional. I would not hesitate to revisit. Utilizing the metro and bus stop situated just outside the premises, as well as the nearby subway station, made my solo trip quite convenient. Although I have only lodged at this particular Sonder spot, I can attest to its value.

My recent stay in Barcelona was fantastic. The balcony suite and bathroom were both impressively spacious and immaculately clean. The front desk provided excellent service and made our visit even more enjoyable. The hotel's perfect location made it easy to explore popular areas such as Las Rambla, Passeig De Gracia, and the Gothic quarter. We also had a wonderful dining experience at the restaurant on the 6th floor. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Barcelona.
