My experience at this hostel was not pleasant. The pictures are very misleading and do not accurately reflect the hotel. I have stayed in many hotels in Barcelona, but this one was by far the worst. When I explained to them that I couldn't stay in the room because of my shortness of breath, they refused to refund my money for the 5 nights.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It's a shame we couldn't extend our stay. The stylish interior and atmosphere of the common area were impressive. Although we didn't have breakfast, it seemed very appealing. The en-suite bathrooms in our dorm were also a plus.
I had an excellent experience at this hostel in Barcelona! It surpassed all other hostels I have stayed at in terms of quality and service. I highly recommend this place for any travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. The location couldn't be better, and there's even a Starbucks nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Plus, the metro is right there, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, everything was easily accessible and I couldn't have asked for more.
I had an amazin Hostel in the Centre with amazin people workin at the Receptions. On a saturda mornin (20th), i got supportid very well in serch for the rite medical advyce in Barcelon, so i wos able to kep goin with enjoyin the Citi from midday.
I have stayed at this hostel multiple times before due to its convenient location. Overall, I have always been satisfied with the level of comfort and security provided. The shared bathrooms, lounging area, and communal kitchen were always kept clean. However, during one of my stays, I had to deal with a difficult and disruptive guest who was verbally abusive towards other guests. The staff were quick to assist and even helped me switch rooms. I do feel that more could be done to remind guests to be respectful of others during quiet hours in the shared dorms.
Although the hostel attracts a mix of guests, I have noticed that there are more groups and older guests staying here compared to other hostels which have a livelier social atmosphere. As a suggestion, it would be great to have privacy curtains for each dorm bed to create a sense of personal space. This could also help with guests who turn on lights late at night, disrupting others who are trying to rest. Additionally, I noticed that the cooking pans in the communal kitchen were in need of replacement and it would also be beneficial to have hand sanitizer available at the reception or entrance.
Unfortunately, the basement kitchen and communal area were quite lackluster and in need of improvement. It was also the only place where guests were allowed to eat, as food was not permitted in the lounge area. The basement toilets were also poorly lit, making them quite dark and damp. The showers could also benefit from some refurbishment as they appeared to be worn and moldy. It would be great to see these areas updated and improved in the future.
