I had a great stay at the Vincci Gala Hotel in Barcelona! The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and very helpful giving us restaurant and attraction recommendations, and even the nearby Cathedral and La Familia church were just a short walk away. I would highly recommend the Vincci Gala to anyone looking for a place to stay in Barcelona, and I'm sure I'll be back soon!
The location was great with a lovely roof terrace, small pool and good views. The room was of a good size and the beds were comfortable. The room was also well designed with plenty of storage and a good shower. On the other hand, when I booked a double bed I was provided with two singles pushed together and no “join”. It was also quite noisy, even on the 6th floor. The lifts were incredibly slow and the TV only provided Spanish channels. The staff were not very good at solving issues apart from when there was loud noises coming from the room next door at 11 pm. The breakfast room was a bit disorganised and it felt like there was not enough staff. The do not disturb card was also turning round with any air movement.
The staff at this hotel were extremely attentive and professional. They provided excellent service and really took care of their guests. The breakfast was fantastic and the hours were extremely accommodating. The hotel was conveniently located just across the street from a metro and bus stop, and within walking distance of lots of attractions. The building was in great condition and had lovely decor. It was also very quiet and peaceful.
Staying at this hotel was a pleasant experience ?. Although there were no fitness facilities or spa, all other services were available ?. The food and drinks for breakfast were great ? and the room was very big and quiet ?. However, the cleanliness could have been slightly improved ⚠️. As for the room, there was only soluble coffee available ?.
This 4-star hotel lacked some of the creature comforts we've come to expect. There were no bathrobes or slippers available, no complimentary water in the room, and no Nespresso machine. The bed wasn't very comfortable either, and the television had limited channels. The outdoor bar closed at 8 pm, and the staff wasn't very friendly or helpful.
