Wittmore Hotel - Adults Only

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. Upon arrival, the staff immediately went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Despite arriving before check-in time, our room was not yet ready. However, we were warmly welcomed into the bar where we were treated to complimentary drinks. By the time we finished, our room was ready. Julian, who showed us to our room, gave us a thorough explanation of all the hotel's facilities and even provided us with great recommendations for places to visit in the city - which we definitely took advantage of. Andrea at the reception was also very kind and helpful, making dinner reservations for us. The restaurant staff were also exceptional, serving up delicious breakfasts with a friendly and efficient attitude. If Barcelona is on your travel list, this hotel is a must-stay - and to top it off, even the mini bar drinks were included in the room rate, something we've never experienced before. A huge thank you to all the staff for a fantastic stay.

This hotel was a bit tricky to get to via taxi, and the rooms were quite compact. Checking in was a bit inconvenient since they use old fashioned keys. Despite this, we had a pleasant experience and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious stay amidst the hustle and bustle of the Gothic Quarter.

Staying at the Wittmore Hotel - Adults Only was an amazing experience! The location is superb, right in the heart of the Gothic neighborhood, yet amazingly quiet. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay all the more enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and definitely not to be missed! To top it all off, a delicious beverage by the pool in the evening was the perfect way to end the day.

The rooms are quite compact and the layout is a bit of a challenge. There is a lot of furniture for such limited space. The bar area seemed a bit too much. They provide fresh lemons/limes for drinks, but not something every consumer will be interested in. It could be helpful for them to ask guests some questions so they can customize the interior of the room. The hotel is well-constructed, modern and luxurious. The lighting was a bit too dim. The round vanity mirror was not illuminated. Nevertheless, the subdued lighting and the balcony gave the room a romantic atmosphere. There is no fitness centre in the hotel, which is a shame because it seems to have enough space for one. The front desk staff's suggestions were hit and miss. We were taken to a touristy restaurant the second night. Also, someone at the front desk said there were no Ubers in Barcelona, which is untrue. Breakfast was great and the general service was nice but the room service was not impressive. We left our breakfast tray outside our room at 11am and when we returned at 7pm, the tray, with food leftovers, was still there. Moreover, there was only one roll of toilet paper in the room and no spares. We had to go to the lobby to get more, which was embarrassing.

Our stay at the Wittmore Hotel - Adults Only was truly incredible. The staff were so welcoming and hospitable, it felt like staying with family. Breakfast was delicious, but that was only topped by the absolutely amazing dinner we had in the hotel. We opted for the XL room and the decision was spot on - this room and hotel location was perfect for exploring all of Barcelona. We couldn't recommend it any more highly and if given the chance, we would definitely stay here again!
