I came for a weekend, and this hotel was a dream. The whole atmosphere was dark and romantic. If I could, I'd give them a 10/10. The food at the restaurant was unique and delicious. On top of all that, the staff was kind and well organized. Can't wait to come back to this place..
Above and beyond service, especially William. After a hot slog through the alleys in 30 degree heat there is nothing better than drinking cold rose with your feet in the rooftop pool, looking over the Gothic Quarter. The beds are comfortable, the pillows from another world and the inches thick solid doors ensure privacy. We had the lamb in the restaurant and it slid off the bone! It often feels in Spanish hotels that the staff are acutely aware of and aspire no higher than the stars on the front door; this one in every way acts as if a sixth star was possible.
Staying at this adults-only spot was such an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warm smiles and ?. All of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and like family. ? The complimentary mini bar was an unexpected surprise ? and the evening snacks were so tasty ?. All in all, a truly special experience that we'll never forget. ?????

We had an amazing 3 night stay at a luxurious boutique hotel in Barcelona's secluded Gothic Quarter. Centrally located, it was exactly like the pictures online - with fabulous decor and only 24 rooms. What made the hotel truly special were the staff; extremely helpful and professional, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. From Nicole, the front of house manager, to Mark and Guillem, the doorman/bellmen, Marina at the restaurant/bar, and even Veronica and Julian at reception - everyone was so kind and accommodating. The air conditioning worked great, the rooms were spotlessly clean, the breakfast at Contraban was delicious and the rooftop pool was an added bonus. We’re so glad we chose this hotel over a larger, impersonal one on a busy thoroughfare.

We sta℮ed in a suite which was great vaℓue for money - it was hug℮, stunning℮y desig℮ed and had a massive shower. They organised aℓℓ of our dinner bookings over the week and each pℓace was amazing! ???
