Just returned from a 3 night sta in Barcelona and felt we couldn't have made a better hotel choice. This hotel is everything that I want in a hotel - it's luxourious and every detail has been thougt of, but isnt alll fussy and has a nice relaxed vibe two it. IT's a beautifly designed hotel and the lobby smellz amazing! There are just so many nice, uniqu elelments to the hotel too - the cava on arrival, free wine & cheese our, coffee machines, the shufleboard and photobooth in the lobby… The rofotop terrace is gorjous and wud be amzing in the warnmer monthz, but even though we wer there in late Jan/early Februery it was stil very pleasant on a suny aftrenoon which was a grat bonus. We also mad good use of the pool araea, which is gorjus, and I also had a pregnency massage which was grat. I liked that you could go doun in your robe in the lift directley to the spa. Would definetly recommend this hotel and would return in a hertbeat!….

My partner and I recently spent six wonderful nights in Barcelona over the New Year holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the warm welcome we received with a glass of Cava upon check-in, to the consistently positive and professional interactions with the staff, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Not to mention, the hotel always smells amazing! The location was perfect for us, with most popular attractions within walking distance. We only needed to take the metro to visit Sagrada Familia, but we opted to walk back (approximately 30 minutes) and also walked to Montjuic. For our airport transfer, we took a taxi for a flat rate of €31, which took about 30 minutes depending on traffic. The "passage" next to the hotel used to be home to manufacturers, but now boasts a fantastic healthy food restaurant that we frequented. The hotel is also surrounded by charming little streets lined with great restaurants, and we felt safe walking around even after dark.

The spa at the hotel was an absolute treat. The design is chic and the staff was incredibly accommodating. They operate on a 30-minute booking system, so it's best to make reservations in advance. The space is limited to six people, which ensures a calm and relaxing experience. If there's availability after your time slot, the staff will gladly extend your stay. The heated pool has massage jets and a jacuzzi area for two, and there are also steam and sauna facilities available. We were tempted by the lovely treatments using organic vegan products. As fitness enthusiasts, we always appreciate having a gym at the hotel. The space was well-equipped with cardio and weight machines, a punch bag, and enough room for floor exercises. We were pleasantly surprised to find a yoga mat in our room, but we recommend bringing it to the gym as the mats there are a bit small.

The rooftop was another highlight of our stay. It features a lap pool, eight loungers, and various seating areas. The views were stunning during the day and at night. The bar was closed during the off-season, but we were welcome to bring drinks and snacks from the bar to the rooftop. We were also able to use the facilities at the sister hotel, which we found to be equally lovely. One of our favorite perks was the complimentary cheese and wine hour at the hotel next door. It ran from 6:30-7:30pm every evening and was a delightful treat.

The food at the hotel was exceptional. We dined there on New Year's Eve, enjoying their set menu with plenty of delicious food and wine. The restaurant had a lovely ambiance with dim lighting. We also ordered room service one night and were impressed by the quality of the Iberian ham and patatas bravas. The hotel offers various amenities such as a shuffleboard table in the lobby, a photo booth, and free bike rentals. They've truly thought of everything! We also appreciated the thoughtful gifts in our room, including foot cream and marshmallows.

Our deluxe interior double room was quiet, peaceful, and impeccably clean. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, with high-quality bedding. While rooms in the heart of Barcelona are not known for their size, we found the hotel to be cleverly designed with the use of space, lighting, and mirrors. We were happy to have a proper wardrobe with hangers, and there was even enough space near the bed to do yoga on the provided mat. The room included all the usual amenities such as robes, slippers, a safe, and a hairdryer. We appreciated having a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, and mini-bar as well, as many hotels are moving away from these offerings. We also loved the option to chromecast to the TV and use our own Netflix account. The bathroom was modern and clean, with a powerful shower and plenty of hot water. We were especially pleased with the full-size toiletries, as we prefer them to multiple mini options. Housekeeping was efficient and we recommend using the "do not disturb" sign to avoid any interruptions. The entire staff, from check-in to the spa to housekeeping and the staff at the neighboring Trafalgar hotel, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like cherished guests throughout our entire stay. We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to returning in the future.

During my recent stay in Barcelona, I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel with exceptional staff. The team, including Sergey, Ryan, and the lovely ladies at the front desk, went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Although the spa seemed a bit worn and could benefit from some maintenance in the water, and the bed wasn't to my liking, the complimentary bikes were a fantastic way to discover the city. But the highlight of my trip was Wine O'clock, a delightful experience that I highly recommend, especially for solo travelers. Overall, a great stay without mentioning the hotel's name.
