AC Hotel Barcelona Fórum by Marriott

This hotel was a great experience. Beautiful architecture with an ideal location for both beach and sightseeing. Just 10 minutes to the beach, and bus and metro stations providing access to sights. The swimming pool on the 13th floor gave amazing views, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was top-notch and there was a mall just across the street. The staff were especially amazing - we would like to give a shoutout to Rodrigo from Mexico, a guest services agent who helped us plan our trips and secure passes to Sagrada Familia - muchas gracias!

This hotel has a great location, the rooms are nice, but the airconditioning wasn't working properly. The bathroom sink was clogged, and the last room cleaning left us without toilet paper and coffee cups. We ordered a club sandwich from room service, and it was so bad that we wished we hadn't paid the $26 for it and the two Pepsis that came with it. We complained, but were still charged. The staff members were very friendly.

We were not warned prior to our arrival that there would be ongoing construction by the hotel. We were woken up every morning at 7am with loud drilling, hammering, etc that continued throughout the day. No compensation was offered when requested for the lack of sleep. We had two rooms for three nights and feel that if we had been warned we could have made alternative arrangements to sleep soundly. We are loyal members of a reward program and feel extremely disappointed by this experience. On a positive note, Ajay our morning/lunch waiter in the restaurant was professional, attentive and pleasant - 5 stars to him!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The exemplary service provided by the staff was remarkable. A special mention to the receptionist Roman who was very helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable and provided a cozy atmosphere after all the sightseeing. The location of the hotel was also ideal, providing easy access to all the attractions and local transport.

I had a pleasant check-in experience at this hotel. The room was okay but could use a bit of maintenance. The shower head was cracked and the sink had a leak. But I was provided with a kettle, iron/board, and wifi that worked well even for Zoom calls. I was unable to locate an online dinner room service menu, but when I called they were able to provide me with a list of options. The food arrived quickly and was tasty. The small plastic water bottles were a nice touch and the bathroom amenities were also great, using refillable containers. The bar was fantastic and the service was excellent. The location is a bonus, close to the beach and conference centre, as well as Diagonal Mar shopping centre and parking.
