AC Hotel Barcelona Fórum by Marriott

This accommodation is much less glamorous than most other hotels in Barcelona, but it is still pleasant. The staff at the front desk need a bit of work, but Rodrigo at the concierge desk was excellent. The rooms are also quite tidy and clean, although the AC unit needs some improvement - this seems to be a common issue. However, the bar staff on the 13th floor are wonderful; very friendly and the service is great. While it is off the beaten path, travelling anywhere is easily done with a cab.

We've had a great experience for the two days we've spent here. The staff at the front desk, especially Angelina, have been very helpful. Check-in was very smooth and the rooms are comfortable. Despite some reviews claiming a lack of outlets, we noticed that there were a lot of them in the room, including one on both sides of the bed. It would be nice if there were fans or vents in the bathrooms. As for the pool, it has an amazing view of the ocean, the Basílica de la Sagrada Família and Montserrat. The smell in the hallways wasn't the best, but we weren't there for long so that didn't bother us. In conclusion, we're all about the service and comfort and this hotel delivers perfectly on both. Not to mention, the transfer cost 21€ from the airport and a van cost 47€. It also has a mall just across the street with a great selection of restaurants.

This establishment has a real issue when it comes to its housekeeping service. I arrived around 3:30 pm and my room wasn't ready - I believe they hurried the housekeepers to try and get it ready as soon as possible, however the state of the room was still quite unacceptable. I've stayed in a lot of hotels, a good 2,000 nights so far I'd estimate, and this was the first time I ever felt the need to take a disinfectant wipe and clean the toilet seat. I won't be going into detail about the room (old-fashioned) or the breakfast (decent) or anything else, but I will add one other important warning: the area near the sea is not safe at night. A colleague of mine had their watch attempted to be stolen, so best to avoid it after dark.

For a hotel of this price, I had higher expectations. The rooms were nothing special, the air conditioning was unreliable and the service could have been better. I only spent one night and I would not choose to stay here again.

This hotel was situated perfectly across from a grand shopping center. Upon check-in, we were given top-tier customer service. Our rooms were located on the uppermost floor with awe-inspiring views of the water. We were treated to tasty treats and drinks at a bar offering gorgeous vistas of the city. I would certainly suggest this accommodation to anyone visiting Barcelona.
