I had the pleasure of staying at the AC Hotel Barcelona Fórum by Marriott recently. It's located a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but still close enough that the metro system can take you there with ease. It's a great business hotel with a cool, modern design and everything is kept spotlessly clean. The highlight for me was the rooftop pool on the 13th floor. From up there, you can take in some breathtaking views of the city and the sea. It's the perfect place to chill out and enjoy the great food and music. Highly recommend this hotel!
The AC Hotel Barcelona Fórum by Marriott is a great hotel, conveniently located near the convention center. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have a nice bar on the 13th floor, although the service can be a bit slow. The rooms are comfortable but the beds tend to be two twins pushed together, so couples should be mindful of that. If you're looking to get downtown, you'll most likely incur a cost of about €12-13 per trip. All in all, I was very happy with my stay.
The staff at the AC Hotel Barcelona Fórum by Marriott were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The room was spacious enough for my needs, though the decor and furnishings were in need of some updating. The window was single glazed, which let in cold air and a lot of noise. Unfortunately, the handles were broken and loose, so I didn't dare actually open the window. The mattress had coils, which was not comfortable at all and made it hard to have a good sleep. If the hotel improved this, as well as making some updates in the room, it would definitely improve the guests' experience. Luckily, the hotel is next to a lot of great restaurants, as well as a huge AlCampo supermarket, so that was a big plus.
The location of the AC Hotel Barcelona Fórum by Marriott is great; it's close to the metro station, making it easy to get around the city. The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities one could need; breakfast had a great variety of options to choose from. The rooftop bar had a stunning view of the city and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful - Didac and Angelina at the Front Desk were especially attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay here again.
