Staying at this hotel for 200€ per night proved to be a very negative experience. We were given two separate beds instead of a king size bed and the air conditioning worked, but the air in the room was still not very comfortable. The room contained a bathtub, which was a nice addition, however, it didn't have a plug so it was only usable for taking showers. Our room was cleaned during the afternoon, and the welcome package of champagne and strawberries we ordered never arrived until the evening. The breakfast was alright, but the food wasn't replenished and an hour before the end there was not enough left from the morning. There was a notable lack of vegetables available, and there was no outdoor area to relax or a spa or pool included. We will definitely try a different hotel the next time.
The 2001 Space Odyssey theme was well executed, and all the other features were really great - a delicious breakfast, spacious rooms, amazing showers, friendly staff, and the public areas were well organised and functional.
I found my stay at the Barceló Sants Hotel in Barcelona to be quite uncomfortable. The lack of noise insulation in the rooms meant that I was disturbed constantly by activity in neighboring rooms, including the noises of people getting up and various appliances being used.
This hotel provided a great spot for an overnight stay. We arrived after travelling from Nice, France and stayed the night before meeting up with friends and heading to Zaragoza. If you're staying for a longer period of time, this hotel is ideal, as it has public transport right outside the door. The Metro, Busses, Taxis and trains are all within walking distance. The only negatives were that the air conditioning wasn't that strong and the sink took a while to drain the water. Despite this, I managed to get a decent night's sleep and carry on with my adventures.
Staying one night near the train station couldn't have been more convenient! Checking in was a breeze and the receptionist was friendly and helpful ?. We were a bit worried about how checkout would go but it was effortless thanks to the drop-your-keys space helmet ?. Our 7th-floor room was spacious, clean, and comfortable - the bed was especially superb ?. There was no noise whatsoever, although I do wish I could have opened the window ?♀️. Didn't get to enjoy breakfast, sadly, since we had to catch an early train ?. All in all, a great stay! ?
