The accommodation was great. Our room was tidy and up-to-date. The surrounding area was lovely to explore and not too far from some well-known attractions. Checking in and out was effortless and the proximity to the station was ideal for us as we arrived by train from Madrid, then took a cab to the airport the following day.
This hotel proved to be an excellent choice for my stay in Barcelona. Its location next to the train station had lots of conveniences, such as easy access to taxi and bus services. Additionally, I found plenty of eateries and shops inside the station, which was a great plus. My stay was pleasant and the hotel was met with cleanliness and organization.
This hotel is in a fantastic location, perfect for those who need speedy internet access or are in town for FiRa. Breakfast was great, featuring freshly made omelettes. The bed was very comfortable and you had three options of pillows to choose from, ensuring a peaceful night's rest.
I booked a twin room back in advance of a one night stay in Barcelona. I received an email to say my booking was confirmed. I travelled with my daughters mother in law. I had used the app to message the hotel to advise them we would be arriving at around 10.00 pm. The hotel had responded almost immediately confirming our late arrival with no extra charge. I had also reminded the hotel via their app about 2 weeks before our arrival that we required a twin room. When we arrived, we were told by the receptionist that a twin room was not available and we would be in a double bed. I explained that not only had I booked a twin room, I had also confirmed via the app chat that we required a twin room. The receptionist said they did not reply to chat messages. I said that they had done so to my first message. The receptionist said asked to see my phone chat response. She then went off to check their records. This took about 20 mins. When she returned she quoted a policy saying the twin rooms could not be guaranteed. She offered another room which we went to view, again a room with one bed. We refused the offer. We then were told the hotel was full and no more rooms were available again. By this time we had been at reception for over an hour. We had travelled all day and were extremely tired. The hotel were obviously not going to resolve this so we ended up purchasing another room. To add insult to injury the receptionist told us that she would not charge the rate for the day which was almost double the price we paid for a twin room but honour our price as booked originally. Thanks a bunch! When we got to our rooms - next door to each other (hotel full?). The beds in both rooms were zipped so could easily have been changed into a twin. So twins could have been available if the hotel had prepared for our arrival. On checking out. I was offered €5 refund and my daughters mother in law €15? No idea what the difference represented. Extremely dissatisfied customers The hotel was full of students….
After staying at this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel, I experienced an unfortunate reservation problem that the hotel was unable to resolve. The reception desk did not help, nor did an email to someone in management. Sadly, this resulted in me being charged for an extra night ?. I won't be returning ?♂️.
