Visited in September and would definitely return. The rooftop pool was the highlight of our stay, providing a refreshing break at the end of each day. The grand architecture greets you with a delightful scent upon entering. The reception team were incredibly kind and accommodating. They even helped us plan and book tickets for a Flamenco show. Upon departure, we requested a taxi to the airport for later that day. However, due to a demonstration, the staff promptly emailed us with alternative transportation options. The location is optimal, allowing for easy walks to all the must-see destinations. I highly recommend this hotel.

During my recent trip to Barcelona, I stayed at a hotel for 7 days while attending MWC. The room I was given was modest and tidy, in line with European standards. It had all the basic necessities, but I found the AC to be quite puzzling as it seemed to either not work or be closed for the winter season. The breakfast options were limited but satisfactory. The hotel's location was fantastic, with most popular attractions within a reasonable walking distance. It took me only 20-25 minutes to reach La Sagrada Familia and the Gothic Quarters on foot. The neighborhood was also great, with plenty of good dining options and a supermarket nearby. However, the service at the hotel could use some improvement. I noticed that most of the reception staff struggled with English and lacked a service-oriented mindset. The only exception was a lovely receptionist named Luna who provided exceptional assistance during my stay.

The double bed was incredibly comfortable and the mini fridge was a convenient touch. We were pleased to find supermarkets within walking distance. The air conditioning kept our room cool and comfortable. The bathroom facilities were exceptional, with some extra amenities that were greatly appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay immensely! The only downside was the limited dining options in the surrounding streets, though we may not have explored thoroughly enough. It is worth noting that the main attractions and popular restaurant areas are a bit of a walk (around 25 minutes), but this allowed us to take in the stunning architecture and charming streets of Barcelona.

I highly recommend requesting a room with digital AC when booking, as the standard between rooms can vary greatly. The first room I had was quite worn down, with a very uncomfortable bed and no functioning AC. As a result, the room was unbearably hot and I had trouble sleeping. Despite bringing this issue up with staff, they initially brushed it off with a false excuse. It wasn't until I brought a colleague with me who had a room with fully functional AC that they acknowledged the discrepancy. We had paid the same price for our rooms, but the difference in standard was significant.
