This hotel is quite pleasant and well-maintained. Its convenient location on a major boulevard made it easily accessible via metro or bus. It was a great spot to stay for easy access to popular tourist sights. I also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff.
I absolutely adore this hotel! As someone who makes frequent trips to Barcelona to visit family, I have stayed at the Catalonia Gran Via BCN Hotel three times now. The location is unbeatable and the breakfast, while simple, is quite delightful. The rooms are impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable. I am already planning to return to Barcelona in early 2024 and without a doubt, I will be booking a stay at the Gran Catalonia once again. -Jean
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The suite was cozy and had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and they even had gluten-free options which I was very impressed by. The staff was extremely helpful in providing directions, arranging taxis, and giving great suggestions. The location was also perfect. Overall, I had a delightful stay. ?
During my recent trip to Barcelona, I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel with a top-notch staff. From Kenya and Jan to Bridgith, everyone was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate me. It was such a great experience, especially as it was my first time in the city. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this location again in the future.
? The hotel was breathtaking! I am beyond happy that I splurged for the top floor balcony upgrade. The view was simply stunning. ? The employees were extremely kind and always available to assist. Every time I needed help, they went the extra mile. A big thank you to Matias from the front desk and the lovely valet/bell boy (I can't recall his name, but he was absolutely cute). ? I will definitely be booking my next stay here. The location is unbeatable, as it's near all the good stuff: food, coffee, plaza, and public transportation. ?
