We stayed at the Catalonia Sagrada Familia Hotel for our tour meet-up and wouldn't have chosen it otherwise. The beds were okay, but the pillows lacked fluff and comfort, making for an uncomfortable sleep. We complained and thankfully, two additional pillows were waiting for us when we returned. What made up for it was the wonderful breakfast spread—hot options, a lot of fruit, and even an omelette station. Its remote location, however, is a major disappointment and makes us hesitant about returning.
This was a great last-minute find! The accommodation was spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast options were excellent. Plus, the hotel was conveniently located close to the Clot metro station (lines 1 and 2) and within walking distance of Sagrada familia.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a comfortable experience. Very conveniently located near Clot station with easy access to buses and airports. The rooms were nice and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Had dinner in a restaurant across the road one night, plus breakfast in the café across the road as well - really good value for money. A great spot for exploring the city, would definitely recommend! 10/10.
I had an appalling stay at Catalonia Sagrada Familia and I would strongly advise against anyone else staying here. Our room was simply too hot as the air conditioning didn't work, with the thermostat set to 27 degrees. Despite speaking to a member of staff from reception who stated that the A/C units weren't activated, we were only given a fan (with a heater setting) to try and keep cool. When I went down to the reception to ask for help, I was told to open the windows - something which we had already tried. It is simply unacceptable for them to advertise air-conditioned rooms, only to later state that the A/C is only active in the summer. We hardly slept due to the heat, and I wouldn't dream of recommending this place - it was like an overnight sauna!
I had a fantastic stay at the Catalonia Sagrada Familia. The staff were so polite and accommodating, making my stay even more pleasant. The hotel is ideally situated in Clot, a few minutes from the nearest metro station - convenience really is key! The rooms were lovely and even though the air conditioning wasn't perfect, I didn't have too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Barcelona.
