The Corner Hotel

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was convenient, the staff were friendly and professional, the room was spotless, and the breakfast was fantastic. The team went above and beyond to ensure guests were comfortable and welcomed. The hotel was just a short walk away from the Hospital Clinic Metro station, which made getting around the city a breeze. The room was tidy and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a peaceful atmosphere at night. The lobby was inviting and provided a warm welcome after a day of exploring. The buffet breakfast was top-notch, offering a wide variety of fresh and plentiful options. If I ever return to Barcelona, this hotel will definitely be my top pick for accommodation.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic. The service and cleanliness were impeccable. My partner and I had a 2-night stay on 26/01/24 and were pleasantly surprised by the central location, making it easy to walk to all the attractions. The room was excellent - clean and comfortable. The staff were all incredibly helpful and polite, making our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Barcelona. We will certainly be returning on our next visit. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this stylish and trendy boutique hotel. The only small issue for me was the noise from the street if you happen to have a balcony facing that direction. However, this is easily solved if you bring earplugs along. The staff, particularly at the front desk, were absolutely fantastic and truly made our trip to Barcelona unforgettable. They provided great restaurant recommendations, excursion ideas, and anything else we could possibly need. A huge thank you to Noelia, Natalia, Laura, Pablo, and Francisco! Overall, I had a satisfactory experience at a 4-star hotel in the heart of Barcelona. The room was the best aspect of the hotel, with a comfortable bed that was perfect for a good night's sleep. The cleanliness and cozy atmosphere were also impressive. The location was convenient, with all major tourist attractions within a walking distance of 15-20 minutes. The housekeeping service was top-notch, and the staff was helpful and accommodating. However, the breakfast did not meet my expectations in terms of quality. Although the buffet looked fancy and inviting, the food itself lacked freshness and variety. Non-pork eaters would have very limited options, and even the hot breakfast section was underwhelming. This aspect was disappointing considering the overall quality of the hotel. Despite this, I would still recommend The Corner as a nice and viable option for accommodation in Barcelona.

The accommodation was decent, although a bit cramped. Unfortunately, the bathroom design was quite poor; the shower floor leaked and the door was difficult to close due to rust and lack of ventilation. One perk was the in-room music channel, as well as the heated towel rack and the candy near the elevators. However, the breakfast was extremely disappointing. It might have been the worst hotel breakfast I've ever had. The mushrooms were cold and came from a tin, with a side of hair, while the baked beans were spoiled. The fruit cups were made with canned fruit and had a sour taste. I would definitely advise skipping the breakfast, if you can even call it that. It was all pre-packaged and nothing seemed fresh. To make matters worse, the breakfast staff seemed more interested in their own loud disagreements than attending to the guests. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel experience.
