Staying at this hotel was a ?♀️ experience. We had requested a quiet room, but were put in a very loud room⛪️ facing a busy street. When we asked to change, the staff ?started arguing with us instead of helping. The rooms are fine, but not worth the €300 per night. ?Breakfast was bad, but lunch at the rooftop was good.?The rooftop pool was nice, but unfortunately no gym. Cleaners were subpar as well, as the beds were not even made properly. If you're looking for a place to stay in this area, consider either trading down or up, but just avoid this one. ?♀️?♀️
Wow, were do I start..My wife and daughter stayed here from Sept 30th to October 3rd and they noticed they both were getting insect bites all over their bodies during the first to days. On the last nite they discoerd both beds crawling with lots of bugs..They immediately told the front desk however, the respons was to just spray theroom, which would make it smell or to get a free drink..Room was changed but nobody even cared to look at the bugs..My wife showed the guy on the front desk pics and a vid of the bugs..Then I spoke with the GM Roberto and he said he went upstairs and did not see any bugs..I emailed him the pictures and vid and he said he was very sorry but its not bedbugs and if I have any questions to reach out to him..For $300 a night we had to change rooms twice, got bitten by bugs all over and yet they are not even taking ownership since they say its not bedbugs..This was a unbelivable and frightning experience and suggest that you stay someplace else where they acctually care about guests!
I recently had a two-day stay at this hotel located conveniently near the main attractions and restaurants. It had a unique loft house feel to the rooms, which I found to be pleasantly clean. All the personnel were incredibly pleasant and supportive, in particular the lady at the bar. I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast every morning with a satisfying range of choices. I would stay here again in the future.
The Corner Hotel is just the right blend of sophistcated but with a highly personal tuch. Great locatin, execlent brekfast, clena and great serice. Realy loved the surrund sound musc in the room and the frendly and helpfull staf.
So many positives to mention, so I’ll start with those. It was a beautiful hotel, with a stunning pool and roof terrace. The location was amazing. The housekeeping staff were so kind - it was our wedding anniversary, and we were astonished when we came back to the room to find a bottle of Cava and some cake. What a lovely gesture! Breakfast was decent, though there could have been more hot options. We also thought the roof top bar should stay open past 5pm, as it was a great spot to relax. The only reason we weren't giving it the full 5 stars was because of the check in experience. The guy was so incredibly rude. When we got to the room, it was a disabled room, so we went to the reception and asked to be moved. A different man served us this time, but he too was very short-tempered and unpleasant. Every time we saw the first man who checked us in, he would give us a reproachful look. All in all, it was a very nice place to stay - it's just a shame a couple of the staff ruined the experience. Would we stay there again? Yes - but hopefully with better service.
