Our first time in Spain was greatly enhanced by our stay here. The establishment, although it may be dated, offers comfortable and practical accommodations. The rooftop bar and pool are truly impressive, and the breakfast provided was abundant and incredibly tasty. The hotel's location is conveniently located near Barcelona Santa, making it easy to access various forms of transportation such as the Metro, intercity trains, and airport buses. Many popular attractions, as well as shopping options, are just a stone's throw away. There is also a self-service laundry within reasonable distance and a nearby Mercadona (supermarket) with a wide selection of hot and cold food options that can be enjoyed on-site. Those on a tight budget can indulge in a roast chicken dinner and a refreshing beverage at a very reasonable cost. Overall, it was a great hotel for a delightful stay.
This 4-star hotel was a huge disappointment. From the moment we arrived, there were loud building works starting up before 7 o'clock that made it sound like a bomb had hit the roof. All the facilities were falling apart, the electricals in the room were a safety hazard, and the entire place had a bad smell lingering in the air. The breakfast was not up to standard, and the "free beer" they gave us was no more than a quarter of a beer. The bed felt like a wooden block and was incredibly uncomfortable. The staff were ok, but that was the only positive.
I'm writing on behalf of my husband whose review hasn't been accepted. We had the worst experience staying here, especially considering the expensive cost. The room overlooked a busy road and amusement park, but thankfully the air conditioning was loud enough to cover the noise. The hotel definitely didn't seem worth the amount of money charged per night. We had had a much better experience the day before in another city. This place was like a second World War bunker. Don't waste your time and money here.
Staying at this hotel near the station was quite adequate. Despite its ?bland? décor, the room was large and there was plenty of storage. Although the bed was an extra-large king size, it was ?uncomfortable? and the bedding was quite hard, though the pillows were good. The bathroom was unfortunately tiny. ?Overall, it was a functional stay?, though nothing particularly special. ?I'd give it 3/5?.
Not a 4* by any stretch, we upgraded after reading some of the reviews, so all in all cost us an extra €50 including city tax, so for two nights it was over €380. The highlights were the rooftop pool, however the breakfast wasn't great. Even upgrading the room left a lot to be desired - there were no tea or coffee making facilities, and there was a balcony but no chairs or table to sit at. All in all, a really disappointing experience.
