During our trip to Barcelona, my husband and I were looking forward to a calm and rejuvenating evening. We chose to stay at a hotel with a spa, hoping for a comfortable room and a pleasant spa experience. However, we were disappointed to find that the room was of poor quality with old furnishings and subpar sanitary equipment. The bed was uncomfortable and there was a musty smell in the room. The spa itself was also quite small. Moreover, the hotel was located in a dark neighborhood and didn't offer the expected view for a 4-star hotel. Despite the friendly staff, I was left feeling disappointed with our stay.
Located in a convenient spot, only a short 15-minute stroll from popular attractions like Les Rambles and the Port, this hotel is perfect for those who want to be close to the action but also want a peaceful neighborhood to rest in. The rooms were cozy and the overhead shower was a pleasant surprise. It was a bit strange to find the sink in the main bedroom instead of the bathroom, but it didn't cause too much inconvenience. The staff and security were welcoming and helpful. We treated ourselves to a massage at the spa, which we had prebooked and received a 15% discount for. Overall, this was a great choice for our short stay in Barcelona.
This hotel is in a convenient location for exploring the town and port area. The staff were fantastic in all areas. The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed and a good shower. The bar was a great spot to relax and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of hot and cold options, including juices, pastries, meats, and cheese. Overall, I had a wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend it.
The accommodation was situated on the outskirts of the bustling city but still within a convenient 10-minute stroll. We felt completely at ease walking to and from the premises, regardless of the time of day. The personnel were amiable and proficient during our check-in process. The spa, while compact, had all the necessary amenities and provided a pleasant retreat after a day of sightseeing. The initial entry was complimentary, but subsequent visits required payment. However, the cost was reasonable and the atmosphere was consistently serene, possibly due to it being the low season.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while we attended a concert at Scala Opolo nearby. It's not in the city center, but we liked that as it was in a working class neighborhood, close to the docks. It was nice to be around locals and there was a pasteleria right next door which served fresh and delicious meals. ?????
