My trip to Barcelona was top-notch! The receptionists at this hotel were so nice - they gave great advice about restaurants and answered all my queries. I had a wonderful time here and I'd definitely return. ????✨?
I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel with my friends for a vacation and I couldn't be more delighted. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind; they gave us recommendations for places to visit and where to eat. I strongly suggest this hotel.
Staying at this ? was definitely not the same experience as our stay at the one in Madrid. Service wasn't up to par, the ? was pretty worn down and ? the room was nothing to write home about. The ? wasn't close to much except the ? station. Overall we were pretty ?.
Visited this hotel as an overnight stopover prior to a cruise. The standard room, though small, was nicely decorated and had a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. To eat in the evening, we had to search around a bit, and recommend the Tricki Trac on Calle de Numancia, located about 10-15 minutes away near Sants Railway Station. We thought the hotel breakfast was great - a great variety of food for all tastes. The reception staff were helpful too. All in all, it was a decent place to stay for an overnight, but if you're looking to visit Barcelona for a bit longer, you'd want something closer to the action. A taxi to the port took 20-25 minutes (despite heavy traffic) and cost us €20.
We stayed at H10 Itaca during our visit to Barcelona and overall, we were very happy with our experience. Although the location of the hotel is a bit "rural" in comparison to the tourist spots, it was only 45 minutes to 1 hour away by walking (to attractions such as the beach, zoo aquarium, and museums), and roughly 30 minutes away from Camp Nou (as it's moving to the Olympic stadium for 1 year). For those who don't enjoy long walks, the metro station is a mere 5 minutes away from the hotel and a single trip costs €4, whereas a trip to the airport costs €6 - much cheaper than taxis.
The staff at the H10 Itaca were nothing short of lovely; they were very polite and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Plus, the room was spotless! The bed was large and comfortable, with plenty of pillows, and the bathroom was of decent size with a good shower (although sometimes it would switch between scolding hot and freezing, but nothing too bothersome). The hotel facilities were good, although the pool was dirty when we arrived due to the birds using it as a bath. We did see it being cleaned that evening, but we didn't use it again during our stay. The bar was a bit pricey but it did the job, as the staff were still nice. The included breakfast was mainly continental, and the hot breakfast options were not that great. By day 3, we decided to forgo breakfast and go out for our meals instead.
All in all, we would stay here again, as everything was as expected or better, despite the pool and breakfast being a bit of a let down. We had no major complaints or issues during our stay.
