The room I stayed in was small and stuffy, with no view. The air conditioning wasn't adjustable, which didn't help with the smell of sewage in the room. Sleep quality was subpar. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great - easy to walk around. Ultimately, I won't stay here again - the room was not up to standard.

It is a truly wonderful city. Everywhere you look there is stunning architecture, and the Sagrada Familia is truly a sight to behold. We also enjoyed a lovely day out at the beach. The city buses were useful and gave us plenty of information about the Barcelona area. During our stay, we were fortunate to be hosted in a lovely hotel, where the staff were incredibly friendly.
We recently stayed on 3 separate occasions during our visit to Barcelona. Our trip was booked through Air Canada vacations and they chose the hotel. Pros: Great location ? Helpfully & Friendly staff ? Nicely renovated rooftop terrace ? with plunge pool✨. Amazing views of the city ? and a great place to grab a cocktail ?. Great breakfast buffet with plenty of options ? Clean rooms ? Great views from rooms on the 6th floor. Secure as they lock the front door later in the evening and check room numbers ?. Cons: Beds are hard & mattresses feel like they need to be replaced ? Rooms are plan & feel like a University dormitory. Walls are thin ? From what we understand they’re renovating the room’s starting on the 7th floor. We stayed on the 6th & 3rd during our stays. The hotel is rated as a 4 star though the current unrenovated rooms are more like a 3. I would highly recommend dinner at Mariterra located in the same block ?. The seafood platter was amazing ?….
The location was excellent, with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. We were only a short walk away from the Gothic District. We found the rooms to be spotless and were thrilled with our terrace. Breakfast was included and the staff were incredibly helpful, with many of them speaking English. It was a great stay for us.
HCC Regente is an excellent choice.
Friendly, well-executed accommodation option. While the rooms aren't flashy, everything is done to a high standard. Lovely rooftop area. Nice (refreshingly cold!) plunge pool for beating the heat. Cosy beds, spotless rooms, all staff were pleasant and helpful.. It's an excellent choice.
