This renowned international hotel had a major security lapse when it mistakenly gave keys to the wrong guests, leading to a sense of insecurity during the night. Although help was requested, the issue was not resolved and the reception "manager" was unhelpful and even accused the guests of aggression and rudeness. As a result, the decision was taken to immediately change to a different hotel, proving to be a much safer and more pleasant experience. It is disheartening to experience such a situation, especially with a highly rated hotel chain, and I will not be staying here again. In stark contrast, the staff at the other hotel provided exceptional service and really looked after us, making us feel safe and secure throughout our stay.
I recently stayed at the Hilton Barcelona Hotel and despite the busy week, check-in was slower due to the long lines. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and helpful - a great plus to the overall experience. As an added bonus, the hotel features a 1 star Michelin restaurant in the lobby! Furthermore, the pool club was really top notch and I was impressed with the overall location of the hotel - close to a mall as well as the beach. Without a doubt, I'd highly recommend the Hilton Barcelona Hotel to anyone looking for a more luxe experience.
I previously stayed here for a period before and after a cruise. It's a short 25 minute drive away from the port, and is also a convenient distance away from the Gothic area. The staff were friendly and the rooms were spotless. The Executive lounge had a good welcome reception, but the breakfast options were not so great. The food from the lobby restaurant was neither disappointing nor particularly remarkable. It would have been nice if the other restaurant in the hotel had been open for dinner, but that was not the case. The air conditioning works really well, which was great for the warm European climate. If you're getting a taxi in the early morning, make sure to book it with the front desk the day before - they're happy to assist. At other times, it's very easy to get a taxi. Overall, I would return here without hesitation.
Every single staff member at this destination made us feel like family and they did everything they could to be helpful and respond to all of our inquiries. This is the friendliest staff I have experienced at any Hilton. We had a great stay and the room was great too! If you want a more tranquil stay, try to stay in one of the rooms with even-numbered numbers, and try avoiding rooms close to the elevators.
This hotel was an amazing experience! Everything was clean and tidy, and there was no unpleasant smell in the room. The staff were really friendly and professional, plus they paid attention to details. The location was perfect, and don't forget the Executive Lounge's happy hour from 6-8pm every day. Plus, there was a wonderful L Occitane shop right in the front. Highly recommended!
