Negatives: - Extremely basic. - Overpriced bar drinks with rude staff. - Old damp towels in the bathroom. - Uncomfortable bed. - Outdated amenities. Positives: - Helpful and friendly staff at reception. - Good sized bathroom with all necessary amenities. - Good transportation links, though the walk to the city centre was 50 minutes. - Close to a shopping centre.
How disappointing to find such a dismal experience in the Executive Lounge at the Hilton Barcelona. You would think that the fine culinary tradition of Barcelona would be represented at the evening cocktail hour. Sadly, this may represent the worst display of any Executive Lounge that I have ever seen worldwide. I found oily, deep fried chicken, cheese and fish nuggets with dried and tired tiny sandwiches. Furthermore, the food was not being kept warm, so the fried nuggets were cold soon after they were served. Disappointing for sure. The bar offered white and red wine - NO Cava, in Penedes of all places. Moreover, no F&B Manager ever showed up. Gin, Scotch and vodka were also available to wash down the food.

This hotel is clean and presentable. However, the breakfast was subpar and dinner was just alright. It can be quite far from the beach and city center, though it is conveniently close to the airport.
The hotel is extraordinary, with a superb design and modern technology. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and impeccably clean. The location was perfect and the view from the rooftop terrace was also amazing. We had a lovely stay, and would definitely recommend the Hilton Barcelona to our friends and family.
I had the pleasure of staying at Hilton Barcelona for 4 nights and I was blown away from start to finish. The location was great and easy to get around - it was walking friendly and close to transportation, a mall and halal food options. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean and the customer service was great, making the experience worth it. On top of that, the breakfast was out of this world, making my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend a stay here - you won’t be disappointed.
