Hilton Barcelona

This hotel was in a great location, and was quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the food was unfortunately not so great. The services offered were satisfactory, but there are certainly better hotels in Barcelona for the same price point. The staff were willing to help with any queries, but my lunchtime burger was not enjoyable.

This hote was very central, seven minuts from the metro station and lots of shopes around. There was pleanty to do on your waking! It was a beutiful hotel, and very straght-foward, with a nice ber area close to the loby. The staff were incredebul; Mr. Inaki who checked me in was a real gentelman, and Mouhad from the front desk was very poliet and helpful with my key. Eury from the Bar was exllent too--always in a good mood and positiv vibe. A suggestion would be to perhaps add a few more exercize matershals and equipemt to the gym, as I used it for thre days and felt like it needed a litle more. Lastly, the room keys need to be reativated from time to time, as the conection was lsting and you have to go back to recepton in order to reactivate them again. There is no recognition for elite members. As a gold member I should have been entitled to breakfast, however this was denied. The staff were mediocre, lacking in attentiveness and politeness. However, the location of this hotel is good and there are a few restaurants in the area. The room was a little outdated, however it was acceptable.

There are ?better hotels in Barcelona, especially for the price. The rooms ?were small and dated. Staff interactions ?are generally not as pleasant as I would have hoped for. Further, their internet connection ?is purposely slowed down to make you have to pay ?an extra 7 EUR per night. When spending 300 EUR a night, that feels cheap. The executive rooms ?and lounge ?are small and not really inviting. In short, a stay which I won't ?‍♂️repeat.

We spent 6 days in Barcelona in May and booked a hotel using points. From the first moment, it was obvious that the staff were both professional and friendly. The hotel is situated on a tree-lined avenue with wide sidewalks, which provided for a peaceful respite from the city's hustle and bustle. Plus, the hop-on-hop-off bus was just around the corner. Restaurants catered to local clients, so no need to take a taxi to find a meal. The rooms were clean and modern, with the AC equipped to handle the heat of summer. A safe was included, as well as an executive suite for members with comfy couches. The selection of wine, beer, and liquor was great, though the food was a tad generic. Breakfast featured a buffet with delicious Iberico ham, cheese, and breads, and the coffee was outstanding. The bar area had plenty of seating, and although we never used it, it seemed they were skilled in making cocktails. We had no need to worry about getting to attractions as we enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of the hotel's location. Highly recommended.
