Had a great stay in a beautiful hotel, conveniently located in the city's center near a metro station providing access to all the main tourist attractions and in walking distance of many other sites. Staff were really friendly, accommodating and efficient. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortably and we had a good selection of food for breakfast. Everyone we interacted with was really helpful and went out of their way to answer our questions. Would definitely recommend for a short stay in Barcelona. Keeping the details for a potential return visit in the future. Thank you to all the staff for making it such a pleasant experience. Furthermore, online pre-check-in was a great bonus.
Staying at the hotel was overall a pleasant experience. Despite the room being a bit cramped, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating ?. There was some noise from inside and outside the hotel during the night, however, it was in a great location ⭐. Just a short distance from the Gothic neighbourhood and La Rambla, as well as a metro station seconds away from the door ?. It may be best suited for younger people looking to enjoy the nightlife ?. All in all, it was a great experience ?!
We had a less than ideal stay at the Hotel Barcelona Universal. Items were taken from our room for no apparent reason and we had to enquire at reception about it. While one item was returned the next day, the other two were marked as lost, and the staff seemed to be disinterested and just said "it happens".
This centrally located hotel is located close to a major avenue but without the busy atmosphere of Las Ramblas. Just outside the front door is the L3 (green line) station and it's only a mile away from Plaza Espana and Plaza Catalona. The room was comfortable and clean, although there was some water damage near the door. My room had a nice patio although it was overlooked by several apartments. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of all types and the seating was plentiful. I usually walked to and from my conference at the Palau de congressos but sometimes took the subway when it was too hot. The streets were safe regardless of time; I walked home after 11pm and felt safe. I visited a gastro pub around the corner called Los Cactlitos - definitely worth a visit.
Stayed at a ✨stunning✨ hotel which was nicely situated between the city centre and main roads. ⏱️ Lying only 20 minutes away from the airport it was a great choice. The staff were ? very helpful and the rooms were spacious and elegant. Sadly, I have to give a slight negative due to the poor soundproofing - it was ? being able to hear the Avenida Parallel at night.
