Hotel Best Aranea

Clean and well positioned hotel! ? We could easily get to galleries and places of interest, plus there were many restaurants, many of which were vegan ?, close by as well as metro stations ? The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the air conditioning made it a comfortable sleeping situation ?? All in all, we had a great stay at Hotel Best Aranea! ?

This place was ?! The bed was incredibly comfortable, so much so that we both slept like logs. The staff were super helpful and ?, and the location was great, really close to everything. And the breakfast hit the spot ?. We'll definitely be coming back to this awesome hotel and their amazing staff!

The accommodation here was top-notch. The rooms were spotless and nicely decorated, and the breakfast provided plenty of options - hot and cold - plus a fantastic selection of pastries. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help us locate places to eat in the neighbourhood.

This hotel is a 9 minute walk from the Metro, and whilst we paid for a 'Superior' room, this felt more like a typical room. The view was nothing to mention, but the beds were comfortable. The room layout was not great, with the TV on the wall in a corner and not in an easily viewable position. Unfortunately there were no sockets near the mirror, so we were unable to use our own hair dryers or straighteners. Extra towels were not provided without a charge. The staff were friendly, though the shower was in a bath and water leaked out. Not what we expected from a walk-in shower. Breakfast could easily be found at local cafes for a lower price.

We just got back from a short vacation in Barcelona and wanted to give our feedback about the hotel we stayed in. ?? The location was perfect as it was close to the metro, restaurants, bars, and many attractions like the Sagrada Familia. But it was far enough away to sleep peacefully. We were a bit concerned since we were on the first floor just above the main entrance, but the double glazing of the room was great and we couldn't hear a thing. ?? If you are worried, you can ask for an interior room on booking. We chose "room only" and went out for all our meals, but I had the chance to view the breakfast area and it seemed great with lots of space between tables and a nice selection of food. The standard room was really nice, clean and had many facilities like a safe, air conditioning, good size bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. ?? There was no tea or coffee making facilities though which you only get with the superior room. The cleaning service was really good with clean towels every day and the maid did a great job with personal touches. ? On the 7th floor of the hotel, there is a lovely sun roof terrace which is very peaceful and you get great views of the Sagrada Familia. ? Check-out was at 12.00 and for 2 euros you can get access to luggage lockers. The reception staff are amazing and always very helpful, friendly and professional. ???? All in all, it was a great hotel especially for a short stay, although if you are planning a longer stay, I suggest you upgrade to a superior room for more space. ? Just remember to pay for the city taxes on arrival and if you want to go to the airport by taxi, remember to ask for the price before you get in. Lastly, if you want to go inside the Sagrada Familia, tickets can only be bought online on the day and they go quickly so be quick! ? Barcelona is a great city, enjoy your holiday! ?
