My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Best Auto Hogar. The room we booked was standard but we were upgraded to an superior room with a balcony. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. Parking was really affordable at only 14 euros per day. The location is great and allows easy access to the city, and there is good public transport nearby. We have stayed at other hotels in Barcelona, but this one offers the best value for money. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone, it is 3 stars but feels like 4 stars. An outstanding experience all around.
The stay at Hotel Best Auto Hogar was absolutely horrific. The lock keeping my room shut was broken and there was constantly a loud noise outside. The food was inedible and the room service was a complete disaster. Even worse, the neighbors came to my room and told me to come to his, and management did nothing about it. I wouldn't recommend this place to even my worst enemy.
I stayed at the Hotel Best Auto Hogar and it was great. We upgraded to a superior room with a balcony, which was definitely worth it - great views and plenty of privacy. The room was clean and comfortable, with a mini-fridge which was handy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They advised us to get a transport pass which was only €20 for three days and made getting around the city a breeze. The hotel was located near a metro station, as well as plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and takeaways. It was also a 20 minute walk to Las Ramblas, so the central location was great. Taxi to and from the airport was reasonably priced too, at less than €30 each way. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
