The hotel I stayed at had a friendly and professional staff at the reception and concierge. I had lunch at the rooftop on the 7th floor and the view was stunning. My order was a chicken caesar salad; however, the chicken was cold and aged. I asked to talk to the food and beverage manager to show him the condition of the chicken, but he only sent a waitress and failed to interact with me. It's a shame for a hotel of such high standards to have staff like that.
This traditional luxury hotel in Barcelona offers a glamorous and ambient experience. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was well taken care of, with no signs of decadence. It is designed in a modernist style and looks brand new. Unfortunately, the wifi was a bit unreliable and there was neither a minibar nor any power outlets in our room. The lobby bar was very pleasant and there was a cozy reading room at the back. There is a speakeasy bar downstairs with some fantastic live music. Though the concierge can't help you get a reservation here, it's worth a visit. All in all, it's a good one-time experience, but you could get more for your money elsewhere.
Upon our arrival at this Grand establishment, we were left in awe of its beauty. The room was spacious and well kept, and we would like to express our appreciation to the hardworking housekeeping staff. A tasty start to each day was made possible by the generous and varied breakfast offerings. All employees were friendly and accommodating. While our stay was pleasant overall, there were certain drawbacks. The quality of certain food items was a source of some disappointment, as were certain billing issues. Furthermore, we felt that at times, the focus on private events overshadowed the needs of residents, particularly when it came to the rooftop and pool areas.
This historic hotel offered an incredible stay. We were surrounded by luxury; the room and its amenities were spectacular. I could only wish for all hotels to be like this place! The breakfast buffet was huge, with everything fresh and tasty. On top of that, the rooftop terrace featured a beautiful city skyline and an amazing range of tapas and wines. .
Staying at this accommodation was a delight. The room was generous and the bathroom was large. It featured a shower, jetted tub, twin sinks, a vanity mirror and a separate room with a toilet. We were supplied with fresh bottled water twice daily. Every staff member we encountered, from reception to concierge, was courteous and provided us with invaluable assistance. The hotel was conveniently situated near all the points of interest we wanted to visit, and it was peaceful. We often visited the bar and restaurant on the roof, and we also enjoyed a tranquil meal in the on-site restaurant. We would definitely stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it.
