Myself and my significant other have recently returned from a 4 day visit at this wonderful hotel. It is contemporary, clean, and overall very inviting. It is quiet and has a gorgeous rooftop pool. Absolutely recommendable, and we would come back in a heartbeat. Location is ideal, you can reach restaurants, metro stations, and tourist attractions in no time.
This hotel is situated in a prime location close to La Rambla. The tastefully-appointed rooms have the added bonus of a rooftop pool and bar. The staff are extremely pleasant and knowledgeable, and the area is just a short walk away from plenty of eateries and watering holes.
you will not regret it.
We cannot fault our stay at this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful. Just before we travelled my husband had a serious medical diagnosis. I contacted the hotel to see if I could pay for an upgraded room as we are not sure how long it will be before we can travel again. As it was peak season it was not possible, but the hotel did put us in a lovely room, overlooking the road with a little juliet balcony. The room was away from other rooms so very nice and quiet and although the road is very busy, the sound proofing of the balcony doors is great. I always pack earplugs when travelling but did not need to use them, nor the eye mask. The hotel even put a little good luck card in the room for my husband. The room was serviced every day with clean towels and bedding, and the bathroom shower was really good and the hairdryer in the bathroom was very powerful, so no need to bring one from home (if you are wondering). I would say the air conditioning in the room is one of the best we have ever had, and we travel a lot, at least 3-4 times a year. We had breakfast included in our room rate and this was served to a very sensible 11am. The breakfast had lots of options and some items changed daily. The pool was lovely to come back to after a hot day of sightseeing, and as we were there for 7 nights we spent a full day at the pool on one of the days. Again the pool was open until 9/10pm so really nice long hours. The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing, we walked everywhere, using the Citymapper app, which showed us back streets and shortcuts, and so glad we did as it took us away from the very busy tourist hot spots, and we did not need to use any other transport. The beach is about a 30 minute walk and is nice, but lots of people trying to sell you things. I also, must mention the reception staff who were so helpful and lovely. Always smiling and happy to help or advise on things. I cannot for the life of me see why this accommodation is only 3*, I have definitely stayed in 4* hotels, with much poorer standards than here. If in doubt, don't hesitate, book!!!! ….you will not regret it.
My friend and I have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel three times and we can't express how wonderful it is for visiting Barcelona! ? It's only a short taxi ride from the airport and it's perfectly located for exploring the city - just one street away from Rambelas. ? The hotel is spotless and the rooms are spacious and cleverly designed, with thoughtful features like the convenient power outlets. ? The staff are really friendly too and there's a fabulous rooftop pool and bar to top off the experience ?. Breakfast is really good too! The hotel is so quiet and perfectly run, we can't think of any negatives. ? Thank you! ?
I just returned from an amazing 4 night stay with my teenage son and absolutely adored it. Our room was on the 3rd floor and had a balcony overlooking a main road. It was very spacious, spotlessly clean and had a great bathroom. The balcony was great for relaxing and people-watching in the evenings. Even though it was overlooking a road, the door shut nicely and you couldn’t hear much sound at all. The pool area was lovely and drinks were reasonably priced at €6 for a beer. Its location was really good - La Rambla was less than a 5min walk away, the marina was a 20min walk and Casa Battlo was 10-15min away depending on how quickly you walk. The staff were really friendly and the rooms were cleaned every day. We were even able to leave our bags until we were ready to get the Aerobus (which was only a 10min walk away). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this stay and I hope to visit again soon!
