In a former palace built in 1929
The Miramar is housed in a former palace built in 1929, when Barcelona was celebrating its second Universal Exhibition. Restored in 2006 it kept its avant-garde décor and a broad range of services. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with complimentary beverages, setting the tone for an indulgent stay. The room was spacious and the bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower, was simply luxurious. The breakfast spread was equally satisfying with a variety of options. The hotel's location made it convenient to explore the city by foot and we especially enjoyed the stunning views from the premises.
This hotel was an absolute gem. The staff were personable, accommodating, and professional. They respected our privacy, but also provided valuable insights on local attractions. The pool, gym, and spa areas were pristine and a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The hotel boasted a breathtaking panoramic view of Barcelona, including picturesque sunsets. The staff worked tirelessly to ensure the hotel was spotless and were always welcoming and warm. Imagine my delight when I discovered a delightful surprise of cake and Cava for my birthday upon returning to my room. This added touch made my stay at this hotel truly memorable. Kudos to the dedicated and ever-smiling staff - please continue doing what you're doing because it sets you apart as a truly exceptional hotel. Thank you for everything.
We spent 4 nights in this sophisticated accommodation. Our room was a little outdated, though it featured a large balcony with a stunning view. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and the dinner we had on the terrace was one of the best meals we had during our three-week stay in Spain. Similarly, our room, the gym, and the pool were all extremely clean. We'd walk to town each day down a winding path and use the trek back up the hill as an excuse to enjoy another delicious croissant. I highly recommend getting a room that overlooks the harbor/Mediterranean, since the rooms facing the back are just meant for sleeping.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! Perfectly placed for sightseeing, the room was immaculate and large, with stunning views. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The spa and pool were simply superb. We highly recommend this luxurious accommodation!
We had a short stay at this place for just 3 nights. We absolutely adored it! If you're looking for a workout, it's got a bit of a steep walk down and back. It was a really calming and unique experience with a far eastern atmosphere. We only had breakfast at the hotel - it was delicious, and we enjoyed eating out in the city. The rooms were truly luxurious and clean, and the views of the sea were stunning. The staff were quiet and unobtrusive, and the place had such a peaceful vibe. We can't wait to return!
