The Miramar is housed in a former palace built in 1929, when Barcelona was celebrating its second Universal Exhibition. Restored in 2006 it kept its avant-garde décor and a broad range of services. You will appreciate the large garden and the modern Mediterranean cuisine restaurant called the Forestier.

This was an amazing stay! From being welcomed with a staff member opening the car door at arrival to the polite and straightforward check-in, it was all very pleasant. We chose the bed and breakfast option, and the room had a terrace. Absolutely great! The breakfast was also wonderful - lots of selection and all very tasty. The only downside was the location. Sitting on a hill, the walk back up is a bit of a challenge, especially for those with long Covid symptoms. Just be aware of this if booking - but if you can manage it, the hotel is worth it!
I was really pleased with my stay at this hotel. From the moment we got there, we were welcomed with a helpful reception staff member carrying our luggage for us. The room was clean, large and had plenty of towels. It was also cleaned daily to a high standard. The breakfast was incredible - the staff even remembered our order each day and provided gluten free bread for me and my daughter. The evening meals were delicious and the service was really quick. They even catered for my grandson's dietary requirements. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful, always asking if we needed anything and saying hello when we returned from our daily activities. I'm definitely coming back to this city and I won't stay anywhere else but this hotel. It really made our vacation unforgettable. Thank you to all the staff.
This was our first time at Hotel Miramar Barcelona GL and we loved it! The upgrade to a top-floor room with a large terrace overlooking the bay was definitely worth the extra cost. The weather was perfect for March so we spent a lot of time on our terrace rather than by the pool. The breakfast was outstanding, served on the balcony of the restaurant. We especially loved the great toaster and you could also order eggs if desired. The service was great and the ambiance was lovely. The reception service was excellent. We can't wait to stay here again!
We had a superb stay at Hotel Miramar Barcelona GL, it was perfect for our family with a 1 year old who had plenty of space and safe areas to explore. The staff were so friendly and accommodating at all times, they really made our stay even more enjoyable. The facilities were top-notch and the attention to detail was very impressive. A cot was ready and waiting for us on our arrival and the breakfast was delicious and great value for money. We would highly recommend this hotel and thank them again for a wonderful stay.
