In a former palace built in 1929
The Miramar is housed in a former palace built in 1929, when Barcelona was celebrating its second Universal Exhibition. Restored in 2006 it kept its avant-garde décor and a broad range of services. This was an amazin ?hotel, situatd ovrelooking the city and a quiescent ?getaway from the hussle and bussel ?with a pefect ?garden and pool - a 10 euro taxe ride into the centre. Unfortunatly for us, our stay involvd no hot watter ?in our room for the duration of the 4 day stay. The front desk staff were lovley ?and tried their best to rectifie the plumming isses. I do howver, feel we were overlookd until we made a fuss which is a shama. Management shud of bin a littel more proactivee with their custumer servise. ???
We had an amazing time during our stay. The view from the room was absolutely stunning. The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly helpful. The rooms were immaculate and modern. Plus, the location was ideal. We would highly recommend this place and hope to use it again if we ever make it back to Barcelona.
The accommodations at this spot are generous, with spacious rooms and lavish bathrooms. Not to mention that the grounds are breathtaking, making it a great place to experience nature. The highlight of the stay, however, was the pleasantness and hospitality of everyone who works there. The only downside is that it is slightly outside of the bustling city, and on one occasion it was tough to get a cab back. Nevertheless, the reward of staying there is pristine waterfront views.
We stopped by the lovely Gardens adjacent to an area hotel and had the pleasure of experiencing the hospitality of the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm and welcoming, and we had a wonderful lunch with delicious food. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, a nice contrast to the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. We spoke with a couple who were already guests, and they spoke fondly of their experiences here. The staff was kind enough to call a taxi for us when we were ready to leave, and it arrived quickly. All in all, our interactions with the hotel left us very impressed and we look forward to staying there on our next visit.
The customer service I received at this hotel was great and the food options were top-notch. I really enjoyed the tea bags they had, and I'm still thinking about the scrumptious shrimp roll I tried. Every aspect of my experience in the hotel was great, the views were incredible. Although, the back of the hotel was quite hilly, so it might not be ideal for those who don't have much energy. Highly recommend!
