Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona
About
We love it!
Hard to be more centric, two steps from the Ramblas and the Plaça de Catalunya. 91 rooms decorated by Lazaro Rosa, all black and white, marble and leather with sophisticated lightning. Not very large but well distributed. We appreciate this hotel for the atmosphere: à la mode bar, meeting site for locals on Wednesday and Saturday nights, and during summer time the “Bar du Ciel” (Heaven’s bar) animated by local DJ’s to profit of a magnificent view of Barcelona. We love it!

This accommodation was top-notch, conveniently located in the heart of the city. Within walking distance, we could easily access the lively Ramblas and charming Plaza de Cataluna. The cleanliness was impeccable and the staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, providing exceptional service. The rooftop bar and lobby bar were both fantastic, while the rooms were generously sized.
During our recent trip to Barcelona, I carefully selected our accommodation based on thorough research. The hotel's location was ideal, situated near Plaça de Catalunya. We were able to easily access the hotel from the airport by taking the Aerobus and simply crossing the plaza. This central location allowed us to conveniently explore popular areas such as Barri Gotic, Ramblas, and The Eixample on foot. We found multiple Metro subway stations close by, making it effortless to navigate the city. The hotel's front desk staff warmly welcomed us upon arrival. The lobby offered a spacious lounge area and an adjacent bar which we visited a few times. The staff there were friendly and accommodating. Our room was cozy but on the smaller side. We had just enough space to open two hardcase luggage. However, we were pleased with our street view and small balcony. While there was some noise from a nearby bar, the double-pane glass doors helped to reduce the disturbance. Overall, I would definitely return to this hotel, perhaps opting for a slightly larger room to accommodate our luggage. Highly recommended!
The hotel's location was ideal, just a short walk from Plaza Catalunya where we were able to easily catch the hop on-hop off bus. The surrounding area also had a variety of great restaurants to choose from. Plus, we were only a couple minutes away from La Rambla. The breakfast buffet was delicious and included made-to-order eggs and coffee.
This hotel was a wonderful accommodation for our four-night stay in mid-October. Its location is unbeatable, situated on a quiet street near popular attractions like Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya. Whether you prefer to take the bus, metro, or taxi (which are conveniently available in front of the hotel), you have easy access to all the amazing sights and experiences this city has to offer. The staff, mostly young and multilingual, were extremely welcoming, professional, and accommodating. Don't miss out on the delicious and varied breakfast spread - it's worth including in your stay. The lounge is a cozy and sophisticated spot to enjoy dinner and drinks if you don't feel like going out. Speaking of dinner, the creative menu did not disappoint in taste. Our standard room had a balcony and was charmingly decorated. We found the bed to be incredibly comfortable and the towels generously sized. My only complaints would be the lack of storage space for clothes and insufficient reading lighting provided by the bedside lamps. Additionally, the bathtub/shower setup was a bit slippery, lacking a grab bar for older guests, and resulted in a wet floor after use. Despite these minor inconveniences, I would definitely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it. Thank you for a fantastic time!
The entire staff made for a wonderful trip filled with lifelong memories. Start to finish it exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for exploring the city and allowed us to walk everywhere. The front desk staff could not have been more professional, polite, or helpful. When we had issues with our rental car reservation, the staff found a solution quickly and even had the car delivered directly to the hotel. The housekeeping staff was so prompt and thorough yet did it in a way that made them almost invisible. The breakfast selection was amazing and became a favorite part of our day. The servers were welcoming and had a sunny personality. Our only feedback would be that it took a little too long to get coffee and one day our order was forgotten and probably took 30 minutes to arrive. We also had dinner at the bar, but the sixth floor rooftop bar was way too much of a party for us old folks. We would love to come back and will always recommend this place.
